Sounds Like
a live band
Dirty sounding live clip of "Black Enough" performed at Ostrock Open Air 2005
"Hello" live at Ampers Club, Shelter Vienna, 2007.
SuperToaster beat their instruments since 2000. They call the stuff that comes out "flink funk", although most people refer to it as "way too loud". After their former metal/hard rock band (beatroot) broke up in 1999, bass player Robert, former guitarist and now drummer Pomml and guitarist Ed wanted to go on, but play music that other local bands just didn't play. Also, the 3 musicians didn't want to adapt their style to fit musical trends. "You gotta sound like this to get a deal. You gotta sound like this to be played on the radio...". Wo cares?
"When we started, every local band was playing crossover or metal. The drummers had to play doublebass, the guitarists tried to sound like Yngwie. Now the same guys play simple 3-chord guitarpop songs to suit the taste of record companies or radio stations. Know what I mean? We didn't want to form a new band every 2 years, just because of trends".
Call it the way you want, because we don't know what this is either ;-)
Ah, and always remember the 3 golden rules of Rock Music:
1) PLAY
2) IT
3) LOUD

Hi everybody, We've finally moved the repair workshop from Jamaica Street to Otago Street in Glasgow's West End. We'll be open for business again on the 21st of June. Check the website for more details. Thanks for all the support,
I have a new song online. It's called "Ray of Hope" and it's a very special song, because:
It's a call for PEACE, and
the lyrics are written and dedicated by nobody else but Mr. SHIMON PERES, Nobel Peace Prize winner and current President of the State Israel. What an honor to sing his words!!
The song is a duet with Omri Lahav, composer/singer from Israel.
It will be presented broadly in Israel in July 2008...And still there will be even more exciting news this month. Stay tuned!
Take care, and send a ray of hope for a new way.... ~Sonja~
