Black Market Audio - SHAKE!
Bert Taken and Arjo van Loo are two fanatic multi-instrumentalist whom
together are the succesfull formation Black Market Audio. With their
roots in the seventies, but their feet firmly in the new millennium they
re-release their succesfull second album Shake! DJ and MC Ro Krom’s
joins them with Humpah Stylee, which he recorded with Black Market Audio
for his ‘’Fatty Boom Project’’. The re-release also contains four new
brilliant new funky tunes to party on.
The duo takes over the dancefloor with their unique sound, but it
doesn’t end there! With tracks that sound like old-fashioned American
TV-tunes and soundtracks of a true Tupperware party, they master the TV
and film world as well! You can hear them in the Disney movie ‘’The Ice
Princess’’ and the American hit-show ‘’Ugly Betty’’.
With refreshed artwork and 5 (!) bonus tracks SHAKE! has become more
then just a re-release. It has become a luxerious cocktail (shaken! not

Renske Taminiau - Waiting to be told
Renske Taminiau, born in 1979 as one of twin-daughters, is songwriter, performer, producer, orchestrator, painter and art-designer. Her lyrics are influenced by Joni Mitchell, philosophers like Emerson, and poets like Pablo Neruda, and Ernest Hemingway.
The debut album ‘Waiting To Be Told’ is a dynamic characteristic and shameless personal album that’s full of warm coloured melodies, great hooks and expressive lyrical style. Waiting for the things she wanted to
say from her heart, to be told by herself how her life’s education has flowed through her and comes out anew. And to quote Joan as Policewoman with her lyrics: Starting now, the wait is over. She’s ready for whatever will come her way.
She’s been playing with her band for two years and recorded 'Waiting to be told' this fall. The band is formed by: Floris van de Vlugt(sax), Ruben Hein(Rhodes,piano), Philipp Brämswig (guitar), Lucas Dols (double Bass), and Borislav Petrov (drums), and she recorded for the occasion with Sting Quartet (Hester van de Vlugt(1st violin), Juliëtte Hoeve (2nd Violin) Maria Sofia(alto violin), Allard Hartkamp(cello) and with horns: Morris Kliphuis (french Horn), Tini Thomsen (Bariton Saxophone) and alto violin virtuoso Benni von Gutzeit.
Currently she is working on several projects such as Wicked Jazz Sounds, an established Jazz Group that advocates dancing with a smile to funky jazz-grooves and live jazz improvisation, and Mr. Eart, a German Band from Berlin, that recorded their album in august 2006 'Facts in the Case of Mysterious Pop Murders”, and as backing vocalist for Mathilde Santing’s ‘Basement Bargains’ Tour and 'Under Your Charms' CD, and Brigitte Kaandorp's 'Als de hefst je overvalt' CD, to name a few.
Longplayers - Intercom
Longplayers are back with a banging new album! The gentlemen have been quite busy, working on several remixes for artists like State of Monc (Clippertron Extended) and Ro Krom (The Fatty Boom Project).
In the summer of 1999, producer Bart Knol en DJ Stephan van den Bos decided to bundle their strengths in a new formula, which helped them winning the first price of ‘De Grote Prijs van Nederland’ later that year, in the category Dance. In 2000 the group adds a new member to the dance act, vocalist Martin Hilkhuysen.
Early 2008 a musical relationship between Maurits de Weert and Longplayers results in a deal with Supertracks Records, for the record ‘Intercom’, scheduled to be released June 2008. Intercom features a list of guest artists, among them Shamangi (Artefact), Vanessa Piergolam and Ro Krom.
Intercom is a vigorous dance-album that combines genres like breaks, electro, progressive and drum ‘n bass. With a mixture of different styles, Bart Knol, Stephan van de Bos and Martin Hilkhuysen create their own sound spread over 12 varied tracks. A beautiful balance between instrumental and vocal numbers result in groovy songs as Eternity and Feel You varied with tracks like Arise and Diabolik. Beside Longplayers vocalist Martin Hilkhuysen, Intercom features a list of guest artists, among them Shamangi (Artefact), Vanessa Piergolam and Ro Krom.
Intercom is a splendid album that can be played in the living room and will do pretty good in the clubs. Before playing Intercom in your car. We must notice that, we can not be held responsible for speeding tickets! We have warned you!
Electro Deluxe - Hopeful
Electro Deluxe returns after more than one year of touring the group meets itself again in the studio for the elaboration of Hopeful, its second album.
In November, 2001, Gaël Cadoux and Thomas Faure, born and raised in Grenoble, decided to group up and put their common passion for jazz and funk in a new musical project. For this occasion they invited Jeremy Coke and Arnaud Renaville to join their first project. And so Electro Deluxe was born!
Hopeful shows the experience of a group that has played in France and abroad. It has resulted in a fresh and warm Jazz album fuelled by the dynamic sound of groove & hip-hop. At the meeting point of Herbie Hancock, Buckshot Le Fonque and Meshell Ndegeocello, Electro Deluxe introduces a personal vision of the world of jazz.
Guest appearances on Hopeful include the fine tune of NOJAZZ members Guillaume Poncelet & Philippe Sellam, the poetic voice of the British rapper HKB FiNN and the sensual soul voice of American singer Crystal Night. This results in an original, melodic and groovy album!
Ro Krom presents: The Fatty Boom Project
Fatty Boom is a song about the love and celebration of any nice and firm woman's butt. Inspired by the crowd's reaction during many Kraak & Smaak live gigs and a positive look on woman's curves in general:"I think there can't be enough boom in the world. Shake 'm, wiggle it, be proud of your features!".
To celebrate his 20th anniversary in dance, soul and funk music Ro Krom and Supertrack Records present the concept complication DJ/MC album: The Fatty Boom Project. Fourteen devastating killer club hits to accompany Ro's roughneck Fatty Boom vocals.
Ro Krom: founder, producer and orginator of Gotcha!, Ro & Paradise Funk and OlaBOLA breakbeat soul, drummer/mc with Kraak & Smaak and DJ Maestro's Blue Note Trip: "I've managed to use my network to get in contact with serveral producers and artist whom I respect to build new tracks around my fatty Boom Boom lyrics. Moon Baker
Moon Baker is one of Supertracks newest additions to the artist roster. We are very impressed with her excellent, powerful voice and strong musical vision.
Born in Steenwijk (a Dutch village) as the daughter of a popmusician, she has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the national and international scene. She was part of Candy Dulfers 'Funky Stuff' for the last couple of years and performed a.o. with Dave Stewart, New Cool Collective en George Clinton.
The time has come for Monique Bakker to prove her talent as a solo artist. Her first solo-album, called 'ABC of Romance', will be released on the 9th of May. The music on her debut is a mixture of soul, jazz, rhythm & blues with a hint of hiphop. Ballads, swinging funky tracks and warm soul alternate each other.
The release of the first single is in March. The second single will be released simultaneously with the album in May.
Bastian
Bastian is back! Four years after the release of 'It's all downhill from here', the band is breaking the silence with a new single, called 'Groceries'.
It is preceding an all new concept-album, to be released later this year, reinventing the band-sound and knocking it up a notch with an intricate production, involving lot's of musicians and inventive melody structures, while still remaining accessible and extremely addictive.
The sturdier sound of the new album can be sampled with 'Groceries', a 4 minute funk-banger, up-tempo enough for dance-floors, yet radio-friendly because of it's obvious song-structure and infectious chorus that will keep people humming for weeks.

Recitement: an exciting mix of music and spoken word. The combination of pop music and spoken word is a phenomenon in the music history. The album Recitement contains 17 different compositions in 7 different languages and styles, arranged and composed by composer, arranger and musician Stephen Emmer. On Recitement everything assemblies: past and present, death and life, writers and singers, poems and music.

Eddy de Clercq
Eddy de Clercq, apart from his DJ activities De Clercq is known worldwide as a producer of sound tracks for catwalk presentations. ‘Music for Catwalks’, his latest project, is not a compilation, nor a mixed CD. All tracks on it are original compositions, especially created and recorded for a fashion show. The album is a creative interface between music and fashion and a starting point of the collaboration between Dutch fashion designers Viktor & Rolf and their musical director and producer, Eddy De Clercq.
On ‘Music for Catwalks’ one finds a selection of compositions as used during the actual shows by Viktor & Rolf and reworked by Eddy De Clercq into new arrangements for listening pleasure outside the environment of the actual fashion show.
Other compositions on this album were made for possible shows or simply were inspired by the wonderful world of fashion. Music to watch girls go by…

For three years Bert Taken and Arjo van Loo of Black Market Audio worked on their second album 'SHAKE!'. The result: 14 songs and 6 interludes that sound like TV-tunes, like pop songs that take the listener by a time-warp through time and space or like a soundtrack for a true Tupperware party.
