   About Supervision

HEY EVERYONE. PLEASE ADD US, COMMENT US AND SHARE OUR MUSIC WITH YOUR FRIENDS!!!!

PLEASE NOTE THO IF YOU WANT TO TALK TO ANY OF US YOU'LL NEED TO VISIT EACH OF OUR INDIVIDUAL MYSPACE PAGES:

Supervision's first break came through winning the first Ultimate Events National Battle Of The Bands in 2003 which followed with the boys storming the stage at the Alton Towers Ultimate Event in May that year to much acclaim.

In the months that followed Supervision were snapped up in a recording deal with Elevation and a release followed In the autumn of 2003 when the band spent time with producer Trevor Michael (Quench, Kindle) at ICC Studios in Eastbourne recording three tracks for THIS WAY UP a new album highlighting some of the up and coming bands in UK. The guys recorded "How Long"," Here I Am" and new song "Back Up" for the album. The tracks were mixed in Nashville by Russ Long whose credits include 'Newsboys', 'Sixpence None The Richer' and 'DC Talk'.

A month later Supervision were awarded UCAM Best New Band at the UK CMA's which were held at The Garage, London December 2003 closing a fantastic year.
2004 saw the band gaining momentum starting with a massive 36 date tour of UK with Replenish and the release of THIS WAY UP on Elevation. Appearances at Spring Harvest, Greenbelt and other festivals took the music to a wider audience before the band withdrew to write material for their debut album which was recording in December again with Trevor at the Helm.

2005 has been the best year so far with the new album 'Day of Small Beginnings' being launched in March followed by a headlining tour through April and May which again included Spring Harvest before a triumphant return to Alton Towers and 10000 fans to end the tour.

the summer has seen the band play more festivals (including 30000 people at Merseyfest) and a Greenbelt homecoming.

The band continue to sell well over 100 albums per week through gigs and word of mouth and September see's the launch of an electronic press kit and video for the song 'scream' aimed at raising more interest in the record industry

Hi Supervision,

I´m just stopping by to send a little encouragement from the scriptures - those verses just struck me tonite ... :-))

Therefore we do not loose heart! Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal...

It is God who has made us for this very purpose and has given us the spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come!!! (2. Cor 4,16 ff.)

Take courage and have a great week!!
Cheers and Blessings!
Arne

Hi Supervision,

the new year has just begun, and it already held loads of changes for us as a family. We moved houses (still living out of boxes), I cut down working hours in the record company from 5 to 2 days in order to be able to do more worship ministry, and just now I lay finishing touches on 2 German worship CD productions .

One of them sounds like a mixture of Motown and Buena Vista Social Club, and is so much fun to produce. I think it is vital, that worship music today does not become to narrow musically. The whole brit pop thing is sounding great, but God has created all kind of music, and the church should reflect those different styles in the attempt to portrait God´s creativity in a proper way - instead of creating a mono culture ...

Not every church all of it, off course, but the body of believers in the whole world can do, if we still allow domestic styles and start to care for Christians in other parts of the world and their contribution to the worship experience!!!

Never before the times of the global village has it been so easy to enjoy diversity as different expressions of a superb creative maker!!! Well, I hope I don´t bore You with these thoughts, but they are kind of on my heart today!

In closing, here comes a little encouragement from the Scriptures:

"There are different kinds of gifts and service, but the same Spirit... To each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good...

In fact God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. If they were all one part, were would the body be...

So there should be no division in the body, but it should have equal concern for each other! If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it." (1. Cor 12, 4ff.)

Cheers and Blessings!
Arne

Hey there Supervision,

Greetings from the UK's most interesting badge-maker and merchandise consortium!

Thought you might like to know that we've launched a new site, with all kinds of interesting bells and whistles.

New products for 2007 include CD duplication and embroidered patches, and as usual all of our prices include UK delivery, there aren't any set-up fees, and you can have multiple designs in the same order.

Hope to hear from you!

Hi Supervision,

As the year comes to a close, I quickly wanted to say thanks for joining me on my myspace journey. Actually, the last 3 months have been quite a ride for me, as I was starting to utilize this at that time for me totally unknown communication platform to introduce people to my music and story. And the response has been tremendous!!!

Thanks again, and I hope You will stop by in 2007 again. In case You have not checked out www.myspace.com/arnekopfermannband yet: I started this 2nd site to share a few more rather worshipful songs, that are working great for the church in Germany. Hopefully they will speak to You as well!

Last but not least: In case You are still looking for last minute Christmas presents, You will find my CD “With All My Heart” at www.m2sound.com/arne. Or just click the banner…

Have a great Christmas!!! The story of God becoming flesh will never stop to amaze me!

B blessed!
Arne

Hi Supervision,

just stopping by to show some gratitude for having You in my list of friends ... :-))

Have a great new week!

So do not throw away Your confidence, it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when You have done the will of God, You will receive what he has promised ... Faith is being sure of what we hope for and being certain of what we do not see ... (Hebrews 10, 35 ff.)

God bless You!!
Arne
