2007年７月M2Kというユニット名で男女ツインボーカル＆ＤＪ兼ギターの３人で活動開始都内ライブハウスを中心に、SONYサマーフェスト、浅草吾妻橋フェスタ、ガーデンウォーク幕張など、企業のイベントパーティ、インストアライブに精力的に出演。
結成より約8ヶ月後の2008年3月19日、日本のハウス・シーンをリードするユニット
cargoのプロデューサー、gokuをアレンジャーに迎えインディーズ・レーベルよりファースト・ミニ・アルバム『Brand new world』を発表し
タワーレコードの予約、ウィークリー、ベストセラーのチャートにて堂々の１位を獲得。

リリース翌日、新宿MARZにてレコ発にして初のワンマンライブもチケットSOLD OUTにて終了。その後、丸井(○I○I)、銀座阪急モザイク、等のインストアライブや、かわさきＦＭ、ニッポン放送デジタルラジオモバＨＯ！、ＦＭたちかわ、POSHH!、などのメディアなどにも取り上げられる
