About me: From her cot in her barracks at FOB Falcon, just outside of Baghdad, a 19-year-old American writes in her journal about Iraqis voting and the little kids she's become friends with. Her words are combined with a design created by a 21-year-old art student from New York City. This is not the picture of Iraq or the experience of the “troops” that we see on TV or newspapers. And it’s not about politics or preaching a message. Instead, it’s just a story of a quiet moment in the life of one American girl sent off to war.
TakePride shirts are something entirely new. They are not just designer tees, they are an experience. They serve to simply remind Americans that they care about one another and to give them a way to show it.

I really appreciate what you guys are doing. You're going about supporting the troops the right way, because you know the money is going to the right place. with those yellow ribbons and shit, who knows who is truly getting the profit?
If you've got the military's back, the military's got your back. THIS is why we fight, for TRUE american spirit. Thank you.
i may have a market for you, i live near a military base and i know that plenty of people around here would be willing to show their support, so let me know if you get a catalog out, and i would be happy to drop some off around post.
love what you guys are doing. I've done two tours of good old Iraq and you got my back, so I got yours. I going to buy some shirts soon.
Peace,
Mike Lowery
