Currently I live with my family and work in a city just outside of Tokyo Japan. I really like the people, culture and food.
I have a wife and three great kids that make living fun. I am a video producer for a very large organization. It gives me access to some neat stuff every once in a while. Check out my photos to see what I mean.
I like living in Japan. I like that even the coolest Japanese person has traits that would be considered nerdy by American standards of cool, hip or whatever the current acceptable catch-phrase is to describe the American idea of mass social appeal.
I like robots. I like anime. I like samurais and sumo. I like raw seafood items.
Japan has a lot to like.
However, I am not a fan of suicidal pedestrians or crazed bicyclists, neither of which are in short supply here. I am also not a fan of squat toilets, which are an interesting challenge. Normally, you can avoid them. However, sometimes you don't have the choice.
