Based in New York City, Sure Shot has been rockin' the clubs with his unique brand of Hip-Hop (in all its various forms) all across the country for the past five years.
Sure Shot has held residencies at Manhattan's hottest clubs and shared stages with the likes of Cypress Hill, Ghostface, and Kanye West. He's also played alongside DJ legends like Funkmaster Flex, Clark Kent, and Brucie B. Refusing to be typecast strictly as a "hip-hop" DJ, Sure Shot has rocked parties of various genres with the likes of world renowned DJs like Diplo & Low Budget of Hollertronix, and Mark Ronson. He has also been a featured guest at The Rub in Brooklyn (”Best Party To Dance Sweatily To Smart Music” - Village Voice).
Sure Shot is also a member of Famous Flava Ent., a Bronx based entertainment company headed by three time "Justo's Mixtape Award" winner, DJ Famous. He's dropped a number of mixtapes, with Vol. 4 of the street classic "Who Got Next" series receiving a "Noteable Selection" on MTV's Mixtape Monday.The internet released "Crack Music" mixtape was received with critical acclaim by websites and blogs across the internet including HipHopDX.com and RealtalkNY.com.
For four years Sure Shot served as Director of Urban Marketing at Cornerstone Promotion, where he oversaw production on the Cornerstone Mixtape, winner of Justo's Mixtape Award for Best Promotional Mixtape in 2003. He also headed DJ focused marketing campains for Sprite, Microsoft, and Converse.
