About me: Strictly Hardcore Surf Specialties is located at the corner of 37th St. & Ave. R on sunny Galveston Island, Texas and has been open since December 7th, 1985. We specialize in custom-made surfboards and expert ding repair. We offer lessons in surfing, stand up paddle surfing, surfboard shaping, ding repair and airbrushing. We are the oldest existing full service surf shop and skate shop (with the largest selection of Sector 9 longboard sk8s)(as well as the largest selection of stand up paddle boards!) on the island. We pride ourselves in a unique product offering featuring hard to find surf & skate brands as well as all the beach fashions and accessories from Quiksilver, Roxy, Hurley, and many more.
