Hi I love JESUS, you, surfing and life!!! Born and raised on Kauai, I started surfing when I was like 4 or 5. Lost my left arm to a shark attack in 2003 but couldn't imagine life away from the beach without the sport I'm so passionate about - surfing! So I gave surfing a shot with one arm, and now I'm back to living my dream! My goal in life is to serve and please God and do well in what he has called me to do, which is surf for Him and share His love and hope through my life!
Currently I am competing in the World Qualifying Series (WQS), traveling the world surfing these events and trying to qualify for the Women's Championship Tour (WCT).

We are in a great time of testing. This is true, for sure. God is doing some mighty work, in our lives, and we are on display brothers and sisters. The entire world is starting to take notice. We talk different, we walk different, we know that we are not of this world, so this world does not sustain us. But we are dependent upon God for His provision, which is unlimited. Even though there is a worldwide economic "crisis" it does NOT have to hit our home. We are children of the MOST HIGH GOD. Praise God! But remember, we are blessed to be a blessing. Let us love one another, and change the words that are coming out of our mouth, no matter what our situation looks like, we are blessed. Jesus loves you and so do I.
bethany you really should come to North Dakota!! I've always wanted to see you speak but never can get anywere to see you!! It would be so amazing if you could come here to Fargo or Grand Forks or even Bismarck!
At some point in our walk with Jesus, we start to wonder what His
perfect Will is for our life, and we start searching and seeking to do
it, because we truly love Him, and want to be pleasing to Him. I am
still on this search, seeking to know the true and perfect Will of our
Heavenly Father. With much prayer, and sometimes frustration and tears,
I remain focused, Glory to God. And, in doing so, I have noticed that
God has begun to remove things from my life that are not pleasing to
Him. Certain music, and movies, tv shows, even friends, have had to be
removed from my life. I began to look different from the rest of the
world. I transformed, amen. This only happens when we truly pray that
God's Will, not ours be done. We must also remain diligent in the
reading of the Word, seeking to know, with a passion, what His Will is.
Today, I want to encourage you to diligently seek out the scriptures,
daily, and to continue to fight this good fight of faith. You do not do
this for nothing, but because it is pleasing to God, and it is
Glorifying to Him. May your day be filled with peace and may God make
His Word as a hidden treasure, and put a burning passion in you, to
search it out, and find it's wonderful truths better than diamonds or
rubies. Jesus loves you, and so do I.

Romans 12:2 And
be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing
of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and
perfect, will of God.
Today, as you are going about your day, think about how blessed you
are. Think about how wonderful God is, and how much He loves you, and
take time to thank Him, and to spend time with Him. He is waiting to
hear from you, He loves you. Do not be distracted by the things of
this world, or family, or jobs. Just take a minute and let God love on
you, and love on Him back. You will find strength in doing so. We
sometimes can get so over stimulated by the things that we have
bombarding our lives, each day. Like work, school, your spouse, your
children, even church responsibilities. Sometimes it may even seem
like you are being stretched way too thin. We were not created to do
this work, the work of Almighty God, alone. He wants us to come drink
of His living water, daily, and be refreshed and renewed in His Holy
Spirit. Let us always keep God first, before anything or anyone.
