For its sixth edition, the “Fête du Surf” spreads along Europe’s beaches and becomes the Surfing Day.Organized by EuroSIMA (European Boardsport Industry Manufacturers Association) and actively supported by the ESF (European Surfing Federation), the Surfing Day will open the summer season next Sunday, June 21 on all European coasts.
Free open day, the Surfing Day is the occasion for new publics to discover the wonderful world of waves and surfing, be educated to the fragility of our environment and share the values of conviviality and solidarity dear to surfers. Any type of activities can be proposed: boost senior or women participation into surfing, help disabled or handicapped persons discover surfing, organize a contest between clubs, brands, surf shops, coordinate environmental actions, propose products testing, etc.

Pour sa sixième édition la Fête du Surf investit les plages d’Europe et devient le Surfing Day. Organisé par l’EuroSIMA (association européenne des industriels de la glisse) et soutenu par la Fédération Européenne de Surf, le Surfing Day ouvrira la saison estivale le dimanche 21 juin 2009 sur l’ensemble du littoral européen.
Journée gratuite et ouverte à tous, le Surfing Day est l’occasion de découvrir le monde fabuleux des vagues et du surf, de s’initier aux différentes pratiques liées à la glisse, de tester du matériel, de s’informer sur la protection de notre environnement, de rencontrer des athlètes de haut niveau et de partager les valeurs de convivialité et de solidarité auxquelles les surfeurs sont attachés.

Bonjour. L'équipe de Surfrider de la Côte Basque s'associe au Bidarteko Surf Club pour le Surfing Day. Au programme plancha, apéro et initiations variées (surf, pirogue, wave ski, paddle...). Toute l'info sur le site de Surfrider 64.
