About me:

I hate these things, but I can tell you my name is Barry, and I'm a husband, father, and pretty damn good truck driver. I've been podcasting since October of '07, and really do enjoy it. I seem to manage only one a week, although I wish I could find the time to do more. I got the 'pod bug' after listening to podcasts by Soccergirl, and Trucker Two Times - both of whom I look up to. I would love to get the fan base Soccergirl has, but the listeners I have now do me just fine. A big thank you to all of those who subscribe and listen to my podcasts on a regular basis! I have a great wife and have settled down in New England. I have 4 wonderful kids (2 from my first marriage)and love where I'm at in life. I drive a truck locally, which is great because it's a chance to do something I enjoy, and I still get to be home nights and weekends to be a husband and dad. I listen to damn near every type of music possible (thank you, XM!), although I avoid country and rap like the plague. I enjoying hanging out with my family, including trips to Six Flags. I'm a kid at heart, which makes it easier to talk with my kids, but smart enough to know I have to be a Father first, then a friend. I'm the lead driver on the account I'm on here in MA, which gives me the fun task of making sure 5 other drivers are going their job, along with the excitement of taking care of all the paperwork, blah blah blah.
