The Company...
"Come learn to surf from our trained and certified Hawaii lifeguards. Surfing, Lifesaving Skills, Water Safety Awareness and much more... The first priority of H.L.S.I. is to insure a safe environment. On that foundation (awareness in water safety), we promote the skills necessary to learn and progress in the sport of surfing. Your instructor will have a minimum of 15 years experience surfing and holds a current certification with the American Red Cross in Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR.
All lessons include an on-land briefing held 45 minutes prior to lesson before entering the water. Classes are held 3 times daily-
(9:00am; 11:30am; 2:00pm)
ALL PRICES ARE PER STUDENT
*SMALL GROUP LESSONS-
normally 1-3 participants
one hour surf lesson- $75.00
RECOMMENDED TWO HOUR surf lesson- $120.00
*PRIVATE LESSONS-One on One with your own Instructor
one hour surf lesson - $98.00
RECOMMENDED TWO HOUR surf lesson- $175.00
*ONE on ONE TANDEM LESSON with INSTRUCTOR

We are located on the Kona side of the Big Island of Hawaii in Kailua-Kona. Our office is in the heart of Kailua-Kona on Lunapule Road (about 20 minutes from Keahole airport) and our lessons are held at Kahalu'u Beach, also known as "Snorkle Beach" in Keauhou, Kona (about 10 minutes from our office).
