A slamming-zombie formation SURGEONT was formed in 2005 and from the very beginning their aim was to become the most extreme band in the Nizhny Novgorod underground. Italian horror movies were the main source of inspiration for the band and that’s why “zombies” became the main theme of their music. The orientation was taken towards such american cutthroats as Devourment, Disgorge, Waking The Cadaver, Necrophagia.
During the period of 2005-2008 the band gave over 40 gigs all over Russia and this helped them create quite a good reputation.
Very soon the members of SURGEONT lost the last glimmers of their minds and decided that Zombie is the crown of evolution. Flesh devourment for reproduction of species became the main aim and the only hope for radiant future!
In March 2007 the live demo «Dismemberment in St. Petersburg» was recorded and self-released. The aim was to spread this recording among the Nizhny Novgorod maniacs. Very soon their compatriot and the leader of underground “Fatal Forum Zine” Pavel Glumin offered them to record some material for the split-cd which was to be released with “Fatal Forum 5”. The guys from SURGEONT agreed and in November 2007 they presented absolutely fresh EP “La Frusta Eil Corpo” containing three extremely brutal tracks.
That recording caused plenty of interest among the fans of the genre and later SURGEONT began to collaborate with “Coyote Records”. In April 2008 totally new horror MCD “Zombie Holocaust” was released. This material became the part of the “Slamseason Split 2”, which also includes Datura (Ukr), Membro Genitali Befurcator (Rus) and Sepsis (Cze).
Exactly from this moment the amount of victims began to grow immensely. The band’s music turned into distorted forms and threatening scale. Hurricane blast beats shower brings unknown fatal viruses and microorganisms into the putrid world of humanity. Slamming guitar riffs crack the brains into pieces, in total with inhuman gurgles of throatshredder Gopas all this obscurantism bursts into our stale world. Today this formation calls itself “Zombie – Slamming Brutal Death XXI century”. Soon the guys will gladden us with their full length release!

Вдохновение музыканты черпали в старых итальянских ужасах и это привело к тому, что зомби стали доминирующим мотивом в творчестве группы. Музыкальные ориентиры были взяты в сторону америкосовских головорезов Devourment, Disgorge, Waken The Cadaver, Necrophagia.
За период 2005-2008 год банда отыграла около 40 гигов в разных городах России, создав себе репутацию качественной мясной шайки.
Вскоре участники банды утратили последние проблески разума, твердо решив, что зомби есть венец эволюции. Пожирание плоти для размножения собственного вида явилось главной задачей и единственно возможным светлым будущим человечества.
В марте 2007 была записана и выпущенная силами самих музыкантов первая официальная демка “Dismemberment in St. Petersburg”, которая предназначалась для внутринижегородского пользования. Вскоре за дело взялся земляк и главарь подземных
изданий “Fatal Forum Zine” Павел Глумин, предложив музыкантам выпустить сплит
в поддержку уже тогда готовившегося к выпуску свежего 5 номера журнала, на что SURGEONT ответили согласием и к ноябрю 2007 предоставили абсолютно новую работу в виде EP “ La Frusta Eil Corpo”. состоявшую из 3-х наибрутальнейших треков. Эта запись
произвела определенный интерес у поклонников жанра и привела к сотрудничеству с
весьма почитаемом в андеграунде “Coyote Records”.Договор был заключен и в апреле 2008 в свет выходит новый horror боевик “Zombie Holocaust”, который по праву можно считать мини альбомом группы. Материал вошел в Slamseason Split 2 на который также попали Datura (Ukr), Membro Genitali Berfucator (Rus), Sepsis (Cez).
Вот тут количество жертв начало расти в арифметической прогрессии, зараза начала распространятся с неминуемой быстротой. Музыка SURGEONT приобрела совершенно уродливые формы и угрожающие масштабы. Ураганный ливень ударных приносит в загнивший мир людей неизвестные доселе смертельные вирусы и микроорганизмы, кач гитарных риффов расщелкивает человеческие мозги словно орешки, в совокупности с животным бульканьем глодкодера все это мракобесие врывается в наш затхлый мир.
Сегодня музыканты характеризуют свой стиль как Zombie – Slamming Brutal Death 21 века и готовятся порадовать слушателя своим полноформатным альбомом.
