An international artist performing in venues & festivals such as The 02 Academy, The London International Music Show, The Twelve Bar, Gibraltar St.Michaels Cave, The Princes Trust Regional Awards Ceremony. The Stockton on Tees Riverside Festival, The Beverley Folk Festivals, Nottingham Riverside Festival, Birmingham International Festival and many more!
Surianne has been a support act for artists such as Edwina Hayes, Suzanne Vega, Breed 77 and Steve Balsamo and in 2005, was nominated for a Birmingham Music Award for best Unsigned / Unplugged Act in the Midlands.
Described as an inglesa gitana ( a Spanish gypsy singing in English ) her music style is derived from a blend of various cultures; Spanish, English & N.African, inspired by warm summer nights and Mediterranean grooves. She remains loyal to her roots, being strongly influenced by the fusion of acoustic guitar sounds and driving percussive rhythms. Her songs are comprised of infectious melodies and soaring vocals, complemented by talented band mates who's understanding of her music has helped create what you hear.
