Surrender Dorothy is Rock N Roll like it hasn't been done in awhile.
We just finished recording four songs with producer Dave Cobb at his studio in Silver Lake California. We consider ourselves lucky to work with a producer of his caliber. We can't thank him enough!
A love of bands such as The Rolling Stones and ACDC drives this four piece rock group. Armed with tie-loosening well crafted song writing Surrender Dorothy will have you jumping off your bar stool and moving on the dance floor. Influenced by classic rock these boys have mastered a fresh and catchy sound that will put a smile on anyones face. With their unique style and pretty looks these guys have the ability to capture hearts over any crowd.
Formed in 2005, the band consists of guitarist/singer Chris Barker, Joe Barker on electric guitar, Josh Clark on bass guitar and last but not least DJ Russell on drums.
With their infectious beats, catchy Chorus's, and face melting guitar riffs, Surrender Dorothy will grab the wondrous ear and take you for a ride. Seeing their live show is a must, if you want to see heads bopping, feet stomping, guitars thrashing and an endless supply of hoot-n-hollerin.
