I have added some new songs I recorded at Battenburg Studios in Battersea.
I am half way through recording a new album.
On these songs and on my album I recorded most of the instruments myself so the whole process took bloody ages! I have a great bunch of musicians for the live gigs though who can more than replicate the album. Check out my web site if you want more info.
The inspiration behind my album title "Surrender to Happiness" comes from Somerset Maughns book Of Human Bondage. We spend so much of our lives searching after crap which is mainly unattainable and leaves us empty. Of course you only can come to this conclusion once you have found your soul mate or soul mates and realize love and friendship are what it is all about. Everything else is just the filler in between.
Ok, enough of this verbal masturbation.
Check out Elliot Cowan's lovely animated film "Boxhead & Roundhead - The Power of Flight". I wrote and recorded the music for it. The film is entered into a bunch of film festivals around the world.
Also a live version of Little Man.....
I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
What an absolutely gorgeous set of new songs, Matt. I really love them. They're warm, honest, moving. 'Cry Out' is just great. I'm really proud of you mate, I'm inspired. Love Sam

Hey! Hope you are doing good. I wanted to let you know about a show i'm doing in London on Sunday, June 1st.
I'm touring with Tommy Allsup. He played guitar with Buddy Holly, and is the guy playing on songs like "Heartbeat", "It's So Easy", etc, etc.....he is 76 and still going strong.
He is a character.
Anyway, i would love to see you at the show. I think as a fellow musician that you will really appreciate seeing Tommy play, and listening to his stories! He is THE guy that flipped the coin with Ritchie Valens.
If you want to see Tommy in action....check out my blog. There is a video from last week in Nashville from the studio.
Take care, the music is sounding great, and i hope to see you soon!
Sincerely,
Kevin Montgomery
