We feel very blessed to have been selected as the top club night amongst our highly respected San Francisco club scene. Having been around less than a year makes this even more special that we have been recognized as one of the most innovative and ground-breaking nights; In fact we are the only underground night representing Dubstep, Reggae/Dancehall, DnB, Breakbeat or Global sounds to even have been nominated! Surya Dub is the next level in Global Dubwize Vibes and Dread Bass Culture. On a mission to unite all dubwize communities from Roots Reggae to Dubstep and Ragga to Dread Bass Breakbeat and Drum'n'Bass to Bhangra, S. Asian and Global Bass Beat Bizness, Surya Dub is blazing up the underground.
Originating from ancient Sanskrit, ‘Surya’ means Sun or Solar and with this energy and the bass heavy aesthetic of Dub, this project come roaring. Our crew is made up of top-ranking selectas and producers who combine musical diversity with dancefloor sensibilities to run the dance.
