Susan Blair is a vocalist, vocal coach and songwriter with a professional experience spanning 3 continents.
She has acted as Musical Director and Vocal Coach on hit plays such as The Lion King and The Sound of Music in The Netherlands and Belgium. She was Head of the Vocal Department at the largest music institute in Rotterdam and taught vocal technique at the Amsterdam Academy of the Arts. In Australia, Susan was the musical director for the national premiere of the blockbuster American Pie 2.
In the UK, Susan is a vocal coach for several professional recording artists and often called upon to successfully eliminate vocal problems in the recording studio or just before an important performance.
In addition, Susan Blair is currently a vocal tutor at ICMP (Institute of Contemporary Music Performance) and Kingston University, London.
A Masters graduate from the prestigious Rotterdam Conservatoire (NL) and having studied at Berklee College of Music (USA) and the Boston Conservatory (USA), means that Susan is also an in demand vocalist in her own right. She has performed with the band Jamiroquai, sung at live television broadcasts for the BBC, performed at Cadogan Hall (London) and recorded in the studio with various producers from such labels as Universal.
