I am a local portrait photographer, originally from New York City, where I had my studio. My specialty is photographing people of all ages. Capturing natural expressions and having them feel comfortable with me, which shows in the photographs. I am a wedding photographer as well as a commercial photographer for businesses in the area. I work freelance and can be contacted for a personal consultation for your situation. My training is from the Fashion Institute of Technology, Trump Village Camera Club and various workshops with renowned photographers. In Sears Portrait Studio, I was certified in Portrait Perfection. I shoot in many styles combining candid with posed paying close attention to detail. I have a theatrical and modeling background that gives me that extra flare. I am an award winning published photographer. Currently, I teach Photography classes to adults at the Pocono Arts Council and have my work displayed in the members show, www.poconoarts.org. I also teach Photography, Theater, Arts and Crafts at Northampton Community College, Horizons For Youth Program, http://www.northampton.edu/Prof_Com/youth. I belong to the following organizations Pocono Photo Club - Chairwoman of Workshops and Education, www.poconophotoclub.com; Pocono Women - For Women By Women, http://fwbwomen.com/; and Women Business Owners Association. My photography can be seen on http://www.stroudsburg.net/ Parking Meter "Fine" Arts Competition. Besides being a photographer I am also an artist. Recently I won "Best of show" for my parking meter bag art work, this is the second year for the competition and I'm proud to say my second win. I enjoy creating in every possible way. I am constantly reinventing myself.
