Hello! I'm Susan Hayes, a singing teacher and singer/songwriter from Manchester, UK. I have recently had the privilege of judging for both Live & Unsigned and Jigsaw. It is wonderful to see how much talent there is out there and to be able to give acts feedback and recognition and sometimes even the opportunity to further their careers. TEACHING
I am part based in Manchester and in Wigan. I teach singing to all ages from beginner to advanced. I've been singing for over 15 years now. It's what I live for. It's always been music for me, ever since I picked up my first instrument as a child. So when I was 18 I went off to train as a classical singer for 5 years at the RSAMD in Glasgow. I cherish my experiences there and I wouldn't change them for the world. But after those 5 years, I decided I wanted to write and sing my own songs. I would describe my songwriting style as acoustic folk pop. I am currently working on my album. I am available for session work and backing vocals, as well as for gigs.
