About Susan Hayes

Hello! I'm Susan Hayes, a singer/songwriter from Manchester, UK.

I've been singing for over 10 years now. It's what I live for. It's always been music for me, ever since I picked up my first instrument as a child. So when I was 18 I went off to train as a classical singer for 5 years at the RSAMD in Glasgow.

I cherish my experiences there and I wouldn't change them for the world. But after those 5 years, I decided I wanted to write and sing my own songs. I would describe my songwriting style as acoustic folk pop.

I am currently working on my album. And I'm looking for a good guitarist, so if you are a guitarist and reading this, then drop me a line....

I am also a singing teacher. I am part based in Manchester and Wigan. I teach all ages from beginner to advanced. Whatever style you want to sing - pop, classical, musical theatre, jazz, folk, country - I can help you.

I am available for session work and backing vocals, as well as for gigs.
