WAS THAT MY 15 Minutes?
CBC Review:
A near sold-out crowd at Susan Jeremy's first show apparently already knew what I discovered - she's a performer you should see. Was That My 15 Minutes? is the story of Susan's search for fame - from trying to capture her parents' attention with Lily Tomlin impressions all the way to stunt driving in action flicks. En route, she shares her very funny stories of working as a clown, a break-dancer (her dance number drew well-deserved applause from the audience), and a stand-up comic - only to realize fame doesn't bring happiness. The show's climax is a touching tribute to her gruff-yet-gold-hearted dad, in whose memory she's remounting this show. The writing itself (with co-writer and director Mary Fulham) is sharp. As a performer, Jeremy has a dry comic sensibility and an almost childlike charm in the way she tells a story. With chops like hers, she should find more than 15 minutes of Fringe fame.

Hi everyone, I'm a NY comedien/actress. I've been on the circuit for a long time! I opened for Andrew Dice Clay just to give you an idea. I performed in Las Vegas, LA Comedy store, I shared stages with Arseno Hall, Joy Behar, Jim Carey and the Wayan Brothers. I performed At every major comedy festival and on TV. I did a pilot with Ellen Degeneres before she was famous. I worked with Jenny Jones befroe her plastic surgery. And here's a rush, I opened for Cindy Lauper at the Ritz in NYC! I was also one of those roller disco dancers fromCentral Park. Featured in Aretha Franklin's video " Rock It' I still have the skates! Ok so now 2008, .. I just finished writing my 4th show.
