For the Cosmopolitan Traveler.
Because it's not just a trip.
It's a Lifestyle.
I'm a jet junkie. They say addictions are inherited, and my story is no different. Mom was in the airline biz growing up. That meant that I got to see the world for free as a kid. For me, travel was in the blood, and it became a need, not a want, from a very early age.Now all grown up, my addiction has become a full-time career: I write, I produce, I host, and design travel shtuff. When it comes to travel, I shall always be learning. But what I learn along the way, I throw out to my fellow travel brethren, however I can.
What kind-of traveler am I?
I'm not a backpacker, not a tourist, not a true jetsetter, but somewhere in between all those--what I call a “Cosmopolitan Traveler.” I like to take my own lifestyle on the road in discovering the culture of other places--the people, the art, the overall vibe of a place. I like to pack functionally, but still fashionably. I like to go to restaurants of legend, lounges that are new and luxe, and out of the way dives only locals know about. I want to stay in places that are charming, but won't break the bank. I want to plan it all myself. And I want to do it affordably, but not embarrassingly cheaply. Apply Isaac Mizrahi for Target to travel, and you get the kind of traveler I am.I have a website that has travel tips and advice, articles, hot spots, video gadget reports, more photos, helpful links, and community with like-minded travelers. If any of that remotely interests you, stop by:

What I don't have there is a blog, so that's what I hope to do here: telling you about where I am (as if you care), cool places I just discovered, and news flashes about the travel world that are funny or fascinating to read about. I'm starting off with some old articles above, but hopefully, those will quickly get buried under oodles of postings about boring me and the far-less boring world of travel.
