All the cool stuff mentioned above! Plus, I am a pretty aggressive snow skier! It is my other favorite thing to do besides showing horses. Visiting with friends and family. Traveling, Cuddling on the couch with that special guy. Surfing on the Net, "Toastmasters", Personal Development. Arabians and National Show Horses. Motivational Speaking. Deaf/Hard of Hearing/Cochlear Implant Issues. Avon. The Outdoors. Sunshine. Chocolate! The Ocean. Water Sports. Writing
Hey Everyone
This is an awesome social network site for young people (18-35) that are hard of hearing and live in a hearing world. Come check it out!!!! Be a part of it!
Music
Mostly classic Rock and Roll, Easy listening and Inspirational. Go Eighties!!!!!!!!!! Love to dance country and western. Do not really like rap, heavy metal, techno, hip-hop or new age.
Movies
Dirty Dancing!- My all time favorite. The Green Mile. Prefer the old classics... In addition, to a great drama or romantic comedy. Not much for Action, Horror and Crime/Murder mysteries.
Television
Oprah Winfrey. American Idol. Brothers and Sisters. Grey's Anatomy. Prefer to read.
Books
Actually, I love all kinds of books. It just kind of depends on what mood I am in! As for magazines--it's has to be fashion and style!
Heroes
My Mom and Dad. Had the greatest teacher in high school--Mr. G who inspired and encouraged me and who was not afraid to tell me when I was wrong. My nephew-Max! He is the coolest kid, who also wears hearing aids in both ears and lives in a hearing world, too!
About me: I currently live in Houston, Texas. I am both a city and country girl. The ocean is also the most fabulous place cause I worked on cruise ships right out of college and I had a blast! I also have a passion for fashion and great style cause I work in Retail Management for one of the coolest sporting goods stores around. I also love to speak to groups, corporations and association as a Motivational speaker. In addition, I love selling! Go to www.yourAVON.com/Sdussling My absolute favorite activity is riding and showing Arabian horses on the circuit. I had also been a published author on a 4-part series in the international magazine "The Arabian Horse Times". For many years, I had worked a second position: training and conditioning Arabian Show horses. It was a great stress buster for me-it enabled me to shift gears, both mentally and physically. I am also very interested in "Deaf/Hard of Hearing/Cochlear Implant Awareness" issues. I am a bilateral cochlear implant receipent who lives, works and has grown up in the hearing world. I am so passionate about my positive experience with the "CI's" that I want to share it with everyone who will listen because I truly believe their is alot of misinformation out there and I do not like the way they have been portrayed on tv lately. Check out my blog at www.centerringpresentations.wordpress.com I also like to speak to groups. I work hard, play hard, and try hard with a positive, outgoing personality.
If you are an outdoors person, drop me a line, because there are many activities I enjoy outdoors. In addition, I love to go country dancing, just need great dance partners to kick up our heels and whoop it up!!! Yea haw!!!! I enjoy a cold, frosty margarita, with great conversation with some awesome classic rock music in the backgound. To sum it up-I would like to network for business, make new friends, and reconnect with friends from the past.
Yeah, we are back in TX. We moved back in Aug 07 so that Ron can start Chiropractic college at Parker (he started in Jan.). Kids are doing great - growing fast. It is a culture shock to be back here, but we are adjusting. I miss the slower pace of a smaller town! How are you doing. I read your profile - you are in College Station? How did that come about? Maybe we can meet up sometime? -K
