Movies
Most Jim Carey films,(I love to laugh) so yeah comedy films are amongst my favourites and I love anything with Ben Stiller. Some of the best films I think were made in the 80's like, License to Drive, Desperately Seeking Susan, The Lost Boys, Ferris Bueller's Day off, The Breakfast Club, Steel Magnolias, Postcards from the Edge.
I also like foreign films but try to stay away from anything too dark as it just increases my pessimism.
Television
I dont watch too much TV and I always mute the commercials because I think they are not good for your head space, but I have to admit there are some good occasional things to watch for example: Seinfeld, Friends, Jamie Oliver Cooking Shows, Gordon Ramsay's shows, SBS late night Foreign Films. I do love a good documentary, anything relating to Art, Music, Culture, Biographical stories, History, Science & Nature or creativity.
Books
I of course love books about ART and artists, especially Brian Froud, Maxine Gadd and Boris Vallejo.I love reading Biographies also.
Other fav. books are: any and all books by Doreen Virtue, The Convoluted Universe by Dolore Canon,The Celestine Prophecy, Astrology for the Soul, Parkers Astrology, Extreme - The Sharon Osbourne Autobiography,( any Bios from interesting people) The Crystal Bible,The Power of NOW - Ekhart Tolle, Destiny Of Souls and many more..

Susan Rodio
by Sumara Love
One of the many challenges of an artist is how to create a beautiful work of art that is both eye-catching and imbued with a style that sets them apart from other artists painting in the same genre. Susan Rodio has admirably achieved this with her innovative use of unusual colors, shadow and luminosity to paint enchantingly ethereal faeries and faery scenes. Susan takes her inspiration from the "beauty, serenity and power of nature".
She observes nature with fascination and love, allowing her senses to perceive images beyond the surface of reality, even faces from other realms in the trees and the mountains.
She believes that anyone can tune into this unseen world by simply sitting quietly in nature, silencing the habitual chatter of the mind and allowing it "to open to its natural receptive state." Susan says, that her art helps her, "...connect to my higher self through colour and seeing an image come to life from the initial vision..."
She'll be happy to know that her luminous colorful creations uplifts and expands those who view them as well.

Who would be A mermaid fair, Singing alone, Combing her hair Under the sea, In a golden curl With a comb of pearl, On a throne? I would be a mermaid fair; I would sing to myself the whole of the day; With a comb of pearl I would comb my hair; And still as I comb I would sing and say, "Who is it loves me? who loves not me?"
