Starge is best described as natural family affections. Phileo speaks of friendship love or brotherly love that exists between friends. Eros is the term defining sensual passions. Agape is GOD'S LOVE and care of people. The first three loves require response from the object to fulfill the meaning. AGAPE, however, can exist and continue with an emotional, verbal, or physical response.
