With the sensitivity that life is short, I realize that life at it's best is living in the moment. I am cultured, spontaneously adventurous and socially versatile. I have carried my travels state side and abroad for modeling, temporary living and leisure. I'm an artist. My skin is my multi dimensional moving-living-breathing-inspiring canvas.
I am a connoisseur of positive living and a student of life.
Interested in quantum physics and anthropology; linguistics, humanities, psychology and sociology, cultures, and philosophy. I also like mermaids, pirates, and sparkly things.
"On the path from where you are to where you would like to be, obstacles will manifest. Learn to live around them." - My cousin Ric
“Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.”
- Albert Einstein
I'm rather xenophilic (attracted to foreign people/culture/customs) and drawn to things of a more outre (unconventional/eccentric/bizarre) nature. I have a fond appreciation for and am of a high degree of intelligence, but I don't walk around flexing my mental prowess. In fact, at times I may be described as hedonistic (pleasure seeking). In other respects I am quite devoted, disciplined, and determined. When not working I do stuff (LOL)! I'm not generally the sit at home type. I have a passion for traveling. I must try new things... in fact, I easily bore without adventure.
"Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes... The ones who see things differently - they're not fond of rules...You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things...they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius - because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do."
"Some men see things as they are, and say, 'Why?'
I dream of things that never were, and say, 'Why not?'"
- George Bernard Shaw
"This is your life. Live it to the fullest with reckless abandon. Seize the day. And do it again tomorrow. Live. Go get your dream. Fear nothing. Try everything. Be excited. You'll never get yesterday back, but today is yours for the taking."
"Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat"
"Do not go where the path may lead...go instead where there is no path and leave a trail"
"We will either find a way, or make one"
- Hannibal
"Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night. -- Edgar Allan Poe"
"Our thoughts create our reality -- where we put our focus is the direction we tend to go." - Peter McWilliams
"The riches of this world will never satisfy a soul that was made for so much more"
"Our greatest glory is not in never falling... but in rising every time we fall"
"To be happy we must not be too concerned with others."
Albert Camus
"May we live...and not merely exist"
"All great deeds and all great thoughts have a ridiculous beginning. Great works are often born on a street corner or in a restaurant's revolving door."
Albert Camus
"But what is happiness except the simple harmony between a man and the life he leads?"
Albert Camus
"If there is sin against life, it consists... in hoping for another life and in eluding the implacable grandeur of this life."
Albert Camus
"If you are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to the thing itself but to your own estimate of it; and this you have the power to revoke at any moment."
-Marcus Aurelius
"The most significant is that of unconditional love and acceptance... if conditional... it holds far less value"
"...if you've decided to get past the walls, you can climb over them, you can break through them, you can tunnel under them, or you can find a door. No matter how long a wall has stood, none has the power to withstand the continued force of human beings who have decided to persist until it has fallen. The human spirit truly is unconquerable. But the will to win, the will to succeed, to shape one's life, to take control, can only be harnessed when you decide what you want, and believe that no challenge, no problem, no obstacle can keep you from it. When you decide that your life will ultimately be shaped not by CONDITIONS, but by YOUR DECISIONS, then, in that moment, your life will change forever, and you will be empowered to take control of it..."
- Anthony Robbins
"The more a man knows, the more he forgives."
-Catherine the Great
""I don't want to get to the end of my life and find that I have just lived the length of it - I want to have lived the width of it as well."
-Diane Ackerman
