..Please Note: This MySpace page is the official Susan Werner MySpace page, and is managed by Susan Werner with a lot of day-to-day help from Vincent.
The new album is here! With Classics, Susan Werner delivers entirely new string arrangements of mainstream popular songs by top songwriters from a "classical" pop era - the sixties and seventies. Drawing on her unique training as a classical vocalist and the diverse talents of esteemed Boston Symphony and Pops players, Classics sets a mood that highlights elegance and sophistication previously overlooked in the first lives of songs like Paul Simon's A Hazy Shade of Winter, Marvin Gaye's Mercy Mercy Me (The Ecology), Paul McCartney's Maybe I'm Amazed and America's Lonely People. Classics has been featured nationally on Mountain Stage, and will soon be featured on NPR's Weekend Edition.
Quotes on "CLASSICS":
The Beach Boys' "I Just Wasn't Made for These Times" comes off so well the listener may wish Werner had done an entire album of Brian Wilson compositions. All Music Guide

My new theme is about fall, with the songs having a sence of wanderlust and rambling on.
I hope you enjoy my pictures, and you will return to my page when it's completed. I'm currently recording the other five songs and putting together the final touches.
I hope you will take the time to listen, check out my pictures and (please, please, please) post a comment about your favorite song from my playlist.
