    "My name is Sushy = (Susy + H) and i'm not a raw fish!;) My music comes out of my feelings..I write songs to release my bottled up emotions through different kind of music.I use Rock Music when I'm angry and I wanna fight,R&B when i'm in love,Dance when i wanna have fun,Grunge when I feel depressed ..so it all depends on my mood of the moment. BIO From the tender age of 5 Susanna Galimi alias "Sushy" started piano lessons at the Conservatory of Music in Milan,she spent most of her childhood travelling especially the USA with her family and thanks to his father she's grown up listenin' to the Black Music and the Masters of Jazz. As a child, all Sushy wanted out of life was to become a singer, and she was driven by the music of Michael Jackson,Mariah Carey,Nina Simone,Billy Holiday,Frank Sinatra,Janis Joplin,Lauryn Hill...and her first loves rock'n'roll myths Steven Tyler(Aerosmith) and Bryan Adams. Sushy was a very unique teenager,and went through phases as a painter,photographer,actress and dancer. She spent several years as part of the club scene in Milan,singing guest spots and performing for tv shows. She was so at ease in front of the cameras that at the age of 6 she made her first television appearance as mini assistant beside the most famous italian showman "Mike Bongiorno" gaving numerous vocal performances during the show. At the age of 13 she began learning to play the classic guitar which soon became her favourite instrument for composing her own stuff and it was around this time that she began writing material in English.Following her passion for black music at 15 she joined a gospel choir which lead to a role in the musical "Jesus Christ Superstar" with Carl Anderson and Amy Stuart. At this time she met Cristiano Cesario,they hit it off immediately and thanks to the German music teacher Guido Block they formed the "Sushyband",with a repertoir of Sushy's own material and soul,r&b,rock covers highlighting her extreme talent and versatility in interpreting her best loved artists.The world soon spread around the music community of this great new talent and in no time she began collaborating with various italian and international artists,songwriters, recording studios and labels from all over the world. In 2008 she was asked by Ben DJ to sing and write vocals for his new album.She wrote with Cris the track single "Me and Myself " and with a phenomenal remix package by the talent texan Dj Wolfgan Gartner the song was played by some of the music industry's most influential deejays like Pete Tong "Ministry of Sound's" in UK and reached number 6 in the "USA Billboard Dance Chart". Thanx to the New Yorker Label "Nervous Records" Sushy performed at " The Radio Energy Event Anniversary Blast 2008 " in S.Francisco and then in Seattle with Lady Gaga,Cindy Lauper, Michelle Williams(Destiny's Child) and many other stars. In 2009 Sushy attended the "X Factor" auditions in Italy but she refused to join the TV show for the love of her english own songs. Thanx to Universal Music Italy distribution she released her own unconventional italian album"faccio quello ke voglio" alias "I do what i want". When it didn't work out Sushy sang the Italian Anthem : "Inno di Mameli " for the commercial tv spot "Calzedonia" changing the lyrics and it turned into a scandal!She became a feminist heroine and despite the criticism of politicians ,the new "Sushy's Anthem " was a success even though the "TV Spot" was banned. From that moment on Sushy hated to sing in italian,she never signed with any Italian label and she continued her solo career setting her own label up: "The We Can! Records". Sushy came out together with Dj DAB with "Grease",the noted Bee Gees song remixed in contemporary House taste.She keep writing and singing and in 2010 thanx to the Melodica Records she released Bendj's whole album "Smile" and she watched it to climb Beatport and ITunes House Dance Charts. Many tracks like "The Mistress" (released by CR2 UK Records ) and "I'm in love" were very appreciated and played by the most famous UK BBC RADIO 1 Djs Pete Tong,Andy Norman,by Roger Sanchez and Erick Morillo who included the track "Sorry" in his "Subliminal Session Annual Compilation". Thanx to the English label House Trained Records Sushy sang and co-write together with Trigga (Mancheters own rap star) "Hardcore Uproar (take me back)" as heard in these days exclusively in UK on BBC RADIO 1 and KISS FM. Now Sushy has signed with Kyrone Music Label and UNIVERSAL MUSIC FRANCE and she's working on her own English debut album!!! She released her solo single "Don't kiss me just eat me " and she shot the video at Cinecitta' (Rome) in september.The single has been included in the most important french dance compilation. She released her second single "Water" on may and the video has been shot at Grand Bahamas island (U.S.A.). Sushy also release a "water" raggae version a featuring with KY-Many Marley. SUSHY'S album is gonna come out on june 2013! BIO (for italian people:) ) Susanna Galimi alias Sushy, nasce a Milano da padre italo americano e madre italiana. A 6 anni appare per la prima volta in televisione accanto allo storico presentatore Mike Bongiorno e in veste di sua "mini valletta" di Telemike si dimostra subito essere sciolta davanti alle telecamere,tanto da cimentarsi in diverse esibizioni canore durante la trasmissione. Arrivata al liceo concentra tutta la sua attenzione nell'organizzare concerti di fine anno e si esibisce nel musical "Jesus Christ Superstar" (opera omonima di Tim Rice e Andrew Lloyd Webber)davanti a tutta la scuola. A 17 anni forma la sua prima cover band Rock con Cristiano Cesario ed entra a far parte del coro del maestro Meloni e si esibisce nel vero musical "Jesus Christ Superstar" (portato in scena al Teatro Nuovo di Milano con Carl Anderson e Amy Stuart) Collabora con diversi compositori italiani come Oscar Kaufer, Flavio Premoli(PFM),Mauro Pagani,Roberto Baldi e Francesco Vitaloni(Sing Sing)e numerosi DJ tra i quali Wolfgang Gartner,Getfar(MarioFargetta),BenDj, DAB(aka DJ Aladino),CUbeGuys(Roberto Intrallazzi e Luca Provera),DJ Ross,Alessandro Viale,,Albertino.. E' la voce dei jingle di Radio DeeJay ,Spot e sigle TV(Domenica 5) e della colonna sonora di RIS 4 fiction televisiva in onda su Mediaset. Nell' aprile 2008 inzia la collaborazione con Ben Dj e Melodica Records,scrive con Cristiano Cesario e interpreta il singolo:"Me and Myself" ,che viene trasmesso in tutto il mondo e scala le classifiche internazionali raggiungendo il 6° posto della prestigiosissima " Billboard Dance Chart Americana,"il 2° posto della World Dance Chart.Il pezzo remixato dal Dj americano Wolfghan Gartner viene richiesto dalle Compilation piu' prestigiose del panorama Dance internazionale,tra le quali :" Ministry of Sound Annual Compilation " e " Pacha Compilation".Si classifica inoltre tra i 50 brani piu' trasmessi del 2008 Il Videoclip di "Me and Myself" (Diretto da Maki Gherzi per Universal Uk) e' trasmesso da giugno 2008 su Mtv UK ,Mtv France,Mtv Pulse,Viva Swiss,ALL Music Grazie al successo radiofonico di "Me and Myself" negli Stati Uniti , Sushy realizza un West Coast Radio Tour in California e si esibisce al prestigioso"RADIO Energy Event"a S.Francisco con Cindy Lauper e Michelle Williams(Destiny's Child),Lady Gaga ed altri illustri artisti internazionali . Contemporaneamente Sushy realizza con i suoi produttori(Cristiano Cesario e Guido Block) l' album italiano: " Faccio quello che voglio",eclettico e dal sound internazionale ,prettamente r&b,rock, ricco di contaminazioni elettroniche. Gira il videoclip del singolo "Piove" (diretto da Gaetano Morbioli)con la partecipazione straordinaria di Riccardo Cicogna ( dai Corti di "Mai dire grande fratello" e "Mai dire Lunedi'"),Francesco Facchinetti e Faso ( Elio e le Storie Tese) Reinterpreta per DAB (Diego Abaribi) in chiave Dance la cover "Grease" ,ottenendo l'autorizzazione dei "Bee Gees" in persona e gira il videoclip diretto da Arteafilm,attualmente in onda su MTV France,M6,Virgin Tv,AllMusic e M2O Esce "Sorry" il secondo singolo con Bendj "Sorry",scritto e interpretato da Sushy,cosi' apprezzato da essere nella track list della compilation di uno dei piu' noti Dj al mondo:"Subliminal Session" di Erick Morillo. Sushy incide "SORELLE D'ITALIA" con Francesco Vitaloni al pianoforte per lo "SPOT di CALZEDONIA 2009",una versione rivisitata dell'Inno di Mameli ed e' subito polemica,creando tanto scompiglio da aprire un dibattito tra i parlamentari. Sushy finisce sulle principali riviste e quotidiani Italiani e viene invitata da Piero Chiambretti in persona al "Chiambretti Night" per cantare il brano dello scandalo. Continua la collaborazione con Flavio Premoli e presta la voce per il brano:"Falling" della la colonna sonora di "Occhio a quei due"(Greggio e Iacchetti),la nuova fiction di Mediaset. Inoltre Sushy scrive e interpreta il nuovo singolo di "Smile" per la Melodica Records e realizza l'intero album di Bendj."Smile" e' subito un successo e sale alla posizione #1 dei brani piu' scaricati su Itunes,Il brano diventa la colonna sonora di "Ciao Darwin" e uno dei pezzi piu' trasmessi dalle reti MEDIASET durante i servizi di "Studio Aperto" e "TG4"e viene presentato in anteprima nella trasmissione di Simona Ventura "Quelli che il calcio",Milano Moda "speciale Armani Fashion Show"e "Venezia Fashion Show" in direttasu Italia1. Sushy scrive e interpreta "The Mistress" il nuovo singolo di Ben Dj in questi giorni gia' alla posizione n°14 della Beatport House Charts,in classifica nella BBC RADIO1 in Uk,pubblicato da una delle etichette inglesi piu' prestigiose:la CR2 records. Sushy riscrive e collabora con il rapper inglese Trigga il brano storico,simbolo della generazione Brittanica anni '90 " Hardcore Uproar (Take Me Back) " prodotto dalla House Trained Records,in uscita in UK in questi giorni su BBC RADIO1, KISS FM RADIO & MTV UK Nel 2011 Sushy firma con un'etichetta parigina, Kyrone GP Music e UNIVERSAL MUSIC FRANCE s'impegna nella realizzazione del suo nuovo album da solista prodotto tra Londra e Milano. Gira il primo singolo"Don't kiss me just eat me" a Cinecitta' a settembre 2011 gia' uscito nelle piu' prestigiose compilation UNIVERSAL e ha appena finito di girare il secondo singolo "Water" negli Stati Uniti nelle isole Bahamas in featuring con Ky-Mani Marley (figlio di Bob Marley) L'album di Sushy sara' in uscita a giugno 2013.
