More innocent lives will be lost if Samantha Garrett, the DEA agent known as The Human Lie Detector, is unable to solve the mystery surrounding a secret formula which controls minds. His work life revolves around a clinic helping those in great need with no resources to take care of themselves. To that end, he has become inventive and daring. In addition to his work there, he must now prove his brother’s innocence before the by-the-book DEA agent discovers their secret.

About me:
I began creating stories at a young age. Like Gilda Radner's character on Saturday Night Live, I acted them out behind closed doors. When my mother yelled, “Tina, what are you doing?” the answer was always, “Nothing!”
After college, I worked a variety of jobs, including assistant children's librarian outside Dallas, headhunter in Miami, office manager near Seattle, and for the past seventeen years, I've been a teacher in Phoenix, Arizona. One day, I stumbled across the address for Romance Writers of America while thumbing through a library book and my desire to create stories was reborn. Being a life-long learner, I quickly joined several chapters of RWA and studied the craft of writing novels. My efforts paid off. My stories have won numerous awards, including First Place
in the Desert Dreams Contest.
