we all looked rough yesterday all around and we all need to improve as players and as teammate. we play this game cause we love it so we need to start having fun and do our part so we can be the team that we know we are. punisher is not just what we are called its what we all are. so its time we start showing it.

I'M BACK, AND I HAVE A FEW THINGS I WOULD LIKE TO CLEAR UP AS THE TEAM LIASON. ( YEAH I'M USING MY AUTHORITY..) ANYWAY, WE HAVE COME A LONG WAY SINCE WE STARTED, FOR NOW ON THE ROAD TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP IS GOING TO GET A WHOLE LOT BUMPIER AS WE GO. WE HAVE MADE A STATEMENT IN THIS LEAGUE AND NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO GET RELAXED. THE COMPETITION IS GOING TO GET STIFFER AND TEAMS WILL BE PREPARING THEMSELVES BETTER FOR US. WHICH MEANS EVERY PLAY WILL BE CRUCIAL IN EVERY GAME ON O AND ON D.
THE POINT I WANT TO MAKE WITH THE STATEMENTS I'M MAKING, IS THAT WHEN WE RUN INTO GOOD TEAMS THERE ARE TIMES WHEN PEOPLE WON'T BE ABLE TO PLAY ON THIS TEAM AND EVERYONE HAS TO UNDERSTAND THAT. THERE ARE NO RULES THAT SAY EVERYONE MUST GET PLAYING TIME ON A TEAM OR ON THIS TEAM. THIS IS NOT POP WARNER AND THIS IS NOT HIGH SCHOOL. IF ANYONE HAS PLAYED AT THE COLLEGE OR PRO LEVEL, SOMETIMES YOU DIDN'T SEE THE FIELD ALL YEAR.. I'VE BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT.
FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD STRING WERE INSTITUTED FOR A REASON.. TO PUT THE BEST GUYS ON THE FIELD AT A GIVEN TIME. IF A GAME IS TIGHT, THE COACHES JOB IS TO KEEP THE BEST PLAYERS ON THE FIELD. WHICH MEANS SECOND AND THIRD STRING GUYS WON'T PLAY. THAT'S A FACT AND YOU HAVE TO LIVE WITH IT. I THINK SOME OF US ARE UNDER THE MISCONSEPTION THAT WE ALL HAVE TO PLAY EVERY WEEK.. IT DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT AND SOME OF US NEED TO REALIZE THAT.
WE ALL TRY OUT FOR TEAMS IN HOPES THAT WE MAKE A TEAM AND START. SOMETIMES IT DOESN'T WORK OUT LIKE THAT AND AS A MAN YOU HAVE TO BE WILLING TO EXCEPT YOUR ROLE ON THAT SAID TEAM. IT'S LIFE GENTLEMAN AND YOU MUST EXCEPT IT. IF YOU CAN'T, THEN YOU HAVE SOME DECISIONS TO MAKE. STAY OR GO..? IT'S THAT SIMPLE.. I got ya its a shame we only had a full qtr the second half we probably could of got more people involved if we had a full second half you guys have to tell the great Defense to slow down lets us have fun too with them scoring we only had 20 offensive plays 16 were runs

The Cobras, Knights game was the unfortunate sight for every players nightmare, no matter what team you play for. All our prayers are needed for # 31 Michael Hamlet the defensive safety for the Cobras with only a few minutes into the game Mike was part of a fierce collision that left him paralyzed from the neck down. Though he never lost consciousness he had no movement of his hands, arms, or legs. Mike was transported by medical helicopter to Maryland University Shock trauma. While putting this together I was contacted by Mikes father and confirm his neck is broken and he was in surgery to remove a bone from his spinal cord. We also like give a big thank you to our own #76 Clifton Buchanan a Solomons Fire department officer immediately took control of the situation and arrange for Mike to be flown to the hospital great Job.
