Sussex Sport

The Sussex County Sports Partnership Trust’s objects are to promote increased community participation in sport and active recreation for the benefit the inhabitants of Sussex. There is a key role for the County Sports Partnership and its local community delivery partners (Community Sport Networks) in helping government to successfully achieve its Public Service Agreements for physical education, sport and active recreation. In Sussex, we interpret this as: - the development and servicing of successful partnerships - better use of existing resources - securing additional investment to support our members’ work to provide and promote more opportunities for local people to become involved in sport and active recreation, at whatever level they choose, for as long as they wish. Of course, in the run up to London 2012, we wish to enthuse and encourage our communities to participate more and take advantage of additional opportunities made available as a result of 2012 business investment and, through our partners, we want to ensure a lasting legacy that truly benefits the communities of Sussex
