Sustain's Founder Philipp Hofmann has worked as a promoter for Pehr Label, Plug Research (both Los Angeles, USA) and Stars & Heroes (Berlin, Germany) since 2003 - after learning all aspects of the music business from scratch at independent music distributor Indigo in Hamburg, Germany.
His international contact base is growing every year, and has been updated specifically in the fields of DJ promotion and 12" publicity of electronic music in print, online and radio media in the last two years.
While this is his current core competence, he's also experienced in album publicity, ranging from electronica, indie, to house and techno music - as broad as the label catalogues he worked in the past.
These include Ghostly International / Spectral Sound, Huume, Orac, Frontroom Recordings, Treibstoff, Boxer, Detroit Underground, Exploited, Freizeitglauben, AYCB, Disko B, Droid Recordings... and many more at Stars & Heroes. Also Plug Research's fabulous artist roster, including campaigns for John Tejada, Ammon Contact, Headset, Thomas Fehlmann and DJ Nobody. Other past jobs include successful US publicity for Berlin Label Monika Records and EU music press for the Berlin Loveparade in 2006.
