................ ..Nach einigem Hin- und Her ist es nun an der Zeit, die „Grauzone" um „Sustained Fire" (dt. „Dauerfeuer") zu lüften, ehe es zu noch gewagteren Vermutungen um die Herkunft und Entstehung kommen könnte als bisher. .. ..Initiatoren des Musik-Projektes sind Heiner B. und Marc S. aus dem an den Ausläufern der Haardt gelegenen Industriestädtchen Recklinghausen. Beide haben zuvor in anderen Bands und Projekten Musik gemacht und Erfahrungen gesammelt, wobei Marc schon seit seiner Geburt (ich glaube es war im Pleistozän) als ein wirklicher Multi-Musician mit echter Großbühnenerfahrung zu bezeichnen ist. Unter seinen Händen werden fast alle rocktypischen Instrumente zu einem abgefahrenen Eigenleben mit hoher Ansteckungsgefahr erweckt. Von seinen Künsten als Producer und Mixer ganz zu schweigen... ..Heiner hingegen ist eigentlich erst recht spät zum Gesang gekommen und hat sich nach seiner Infizierung mit dem R' n 'R-Virus in der vestischen Musikszene einen Namen gemacht. Beide werden, wie üblich in den uns allen bekannten Kreisen geliebt, gehasst, verdammt und vergöttert (..wie die Onkelz das damals schon richtig in Worte gefasst hatten…Anm. d. Red.) .. ..Die von Marc komponierten Songs sind von den beiden Jungs (eigentlich ALTE SÄCKE!!) gemeinsam mit Lyrics, Blut und Schmalz versehen worden. Das Ergebnis ist in Form von Roughmixxes hier auf MySpace zu hören... ..Entstanden ist die Idee, nachdem sich die beiden Musiker nach dem Verlassen ihrer letzten Band zunächst nur sporadisch zum gemeinsamen abrocken und vollabern getroffen hatten. Wie es einigen von euch bestimmt bekannt vorkommen wird, ergaben dann ein Wort und ein Riff das Andere, und „Sustained Fire" ward geboren. ... ..Übrigens…….das Örtchen „Jacksboro/Texas" ist „Sustained Fire" aus privaten Gründen an die Herzen gewachsen und sollte als Synonym ihre eigentlich geplante Anonymität wahren. How some of you certainly will occur, then a word and a guitar riff resulted in the other one, and „Sustained Fire "was born... ..By the way ....... the lil' town „Jacksboro/Texas ", grew „Sustained Fire "for private reasons to the hearts and should protect their actually planned anonymity as synonym. But it seems, that their music caused seismic waves in the Underground ….and so they now decided nevertheless to get the project „ready for the stage"...

Now is the right time to talk about “Sustained Fire”

I mean....before it could come to still more daring assumptions around the origin and emergence than so far...you know?!? ....
Initiators of the music project are Heiner B. and Marc S. from the industrial small town Recklinghausen there on the border to the Haardt. Both made music in other bands and projects and gained experiences before, whereby Marc is to be called a real Multi Musician with genuine large theatrical experience since his birth (I believe it was in the Pleistozän).

Under his hands nearly all R’n’R-typical instruments are aroused to a driven off independent existence with high infection danger.

Heiner however came actually quite late to the singing and after his infecting with the R' n 'R-virus, he made himself a name in the music scene. Both guys are loved, hated, condemned and praised as gods u know.... as it's usual in our all well-known circles ( how the "Bad Uncles" had already correctly seized into words at that time ….)
Marc composed all songs, and together the two dudes (actually OLD PERSONS!!) provided them with lyrics and blood. The result is to be heard as rough-mixes here on MySpace. After leaving their last band both musicians first met only sporadically to play and talk a bit......and....... they had an idea ….. How some of you certainly will occur, one little word and a simple guitar riff resulted in the other one, and ....wow....... „Sustained Fire “ was born.

Sustained Fire proudly presents Susi "Letsgetrock" from Gelsenkirchen. She is the new member since novemeber 2010.....hammervoice.....!!!.. and ..... one to the other ....... the 5-string maniac Christoph "Basstoph" S., a.k.a. "the bassman of Living rock", has joined the team as the Bassdoctor ..... cooool!!!
NEWS... NEWS ... NEWS ... Mr. Fred "Speedfingers" Dragon is now the second guitarplayer on the "Sustained Fire Ranch"...and,
....the third guitarhero is Mr. Dimitri Wolf ... a fantastic young player who has his roots in the black- and deathmetal genre ......
.....last but not least we say hello to Tom "Boneshaker" Kröger, the new man on the drums .... not only in our local scene he's known as a brilliant drummer ....

..Jau, und dann ist Sustained Fire proud to present, dass als stimmkräftige Unterstützung im November 2010 das Gelsenkirchener Madel Susi "Letsgetrock" als Hardrockfachfrau mit in das Projekt eingestiegen ist. Die ersten Aufnahmen haben bewiesen, dass da wat geht.....HAMMER! .. und um noch einen drauf' zu geben, fast zeitgleich ist der 4... äähhh ....5 Saiter- Maniac Cristoph "Basstoph" S., der Basser der (s.o.) renommierten Recklinghäuser Cover-Band „Living Rock“ ( www.myspace.com/livingrock ) zur Bassline von S.F. geworden. Geil!
NEWS; NEWS; NEWS ..... Vor ein paar Stunden hat sich der Guitarero Fred "Speedfingers" Dragon als weiterer Guitarplayer auf der "Sustained Fire Ranch" eingefunden...
..der dritte Guiterplayer im Bunde ist der gebürtige Deathmetaller Dimitri Wolf .... Krass!! .... die erste Probe hat bewiesen, dass die Saitenquäler gut zusammen passen .... man wird hören und sehen......
..tja...und last but not least dürfen wir an den Trommeln den "alten" jungen Hasen Tom Kröger begrüßen, der nicht nur der lokalen Szene als Drummer bekannt sein dürfte ..... PACKEN WIR'S AN.........
