and Jaco Pastorius pour n'en citer que quelques uns. Suzahn jour regulierement en tournee
dans les plus grands festivals et clubs aux Etats-Unis, en Europe et en Asie.
Certaines de ses oeuvres sont conservees au musee Smithsonian de Washington, D.C.,et
au Baseball Hall of fame et ses chansons ont ete entendues chez Oprah, Desperate Housewives, Kyote Ugly, NPR, BET, Disney, Films independants, National Jingles(USA) et sont interpretees par
de nombreux artistes dans le monde.
Les interpretations de Susahn font penser a des petits recits mis en musique, chacune a une page de romans torride qui devoile un secret de vie grace a une combinaison equilibree de swing,de blues, de ballades,de rythme Sud-Americain et de folklore, ponctuees de chansons en Francais, Espagnol, et Portugais. Suzahn Fiering’s music is an elegant entrée into a romantic world of dazzling virtuosity with smoky-smooth vocals, impressive guitar work, masterful scatting, critically acclaimed originals and unique interpretations of jazz standards. The listener is transported to a place with blue martinis, the sound of clinking wine glasses, well-dressed patrons and a cozy sepia-toned atmosphere. Suzahn delivers all this intertwined with tidbits of jazz history and lots of humor.
Suzahn’s interpretations are like short stories set to music, each a page from a steamy novel revealing a secret life through a well balanced mix of swing, blues, ballads, latin and folk, accented by songs in French, Spanish and Porotuguese. Suzahn’s voice is articulate and silky yet one can’t resist its seasoned, road worn quality, which is well supported by her formidable guitar-playing ability.

She has worked with a long list of music legends (Will Lee, Marvin Smitty Smith, Mel Lewis, Dick Oatts, Marc Egan, Donald Brown, Grady Tate, Sam Bush, Greg Martin (KY Headhunters) Jesper Thilo (Denmark) and Jaco Pastorius to only name a few).

BIO, BIO, BIO... Suzahn, one of 5 children, is the daughter of a successful Artist Father and Educator Mother. Suzahn wrote her first song and made her first public appearance at the age of five in a school program in Buffalo, NY where her family lived before moving to Westchester, a suburb of New York City. What they didnt know then is that she would continue to write songs and perform her whole life, developing an exciting career in the music industry. Needing to support herself Suzahn perused an education in Music and Recording Engineer working behind the scenes in all aspects of the music industry as an engineer, producer, label administrator, publishing and manufacturing. However, her inner calling kept her performing and writing. After encouragement from accompanist and mentor Sammy Benskin (Ella Fitzgerald & Billie Holiday), and Jonathan Larson (RENT!) Suzahn made her way to the other side of the glass as a respected session singer and composer. She landed a job on Madison Avenue composing and singing on many National Jingles, including Dr. Pepper, Certs, Budweiser and Pillsbury. Suzahn quickly became a regular of the New York City Club Scene performing at top venues like Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, The Blue Note, The Bottom Line and Off-Broadway. In and out of the studios, Suzahn has worked with the likes of Vanessa Williams, Will Lee, Marvin Smitty Smith, Mel Lewis, Marc Cohen, Dick Oatts, Marc Egan, Shawn Colvin, Suzanne Vega, Donald Brown, Grady Tate, Sam Bush and Jaco Pastorius to only name a few. Her students included Leona Naess and Sean Lennon as well as cast members from Broadway shows. Suzahn was awarded a Scholarship to the Actor's Institute after working with Tony winner and Oscar nominee, William Hickey. And, before leaving New York City, was invited into the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C., as a songwriter and has two songs in the Baseball Hall of Fame. After moving to Nashville, TN to work at MCA Music, Suzahn was heard in a club by 4-time Grammy winning Producer Richard Adler who produced her new CD, "Paris Without His Kiss". Suzahn resides in Nashville and works as an Artist, Songwriter, Teacher and freelance Producer. Suzahn performs as a solo or with her band "French Kiss" and travels America and Europe playing clubs, colleges and festivals and writes music for Carlin International Music Group.
