Suzanne Paris is a singer, songwriter, and musician whose melodic voice intones earthy yet fiery lyrics that seem to always touch the inner soul of her listeners. Her acoustic rock style is lined with a contemporary pop that appeals to everyone.
This blue-eyed soul singer moved to California in the late 1990's from Aspen where she sharpened her songwriting and her performance skills. While in Aspen Suzanne met & played with many musicians and songwriters such as Stephen Stills, John Denver, and Jeff Skunk Baxter. Her experiences in Aspen were beneficial. Many of the songs Suzanne later recorded on her Pink Lipstick album were first inspired under Aspen's starlight.
The move to California brought on a multitude of opportunities that would ultimately be the beginning of her solo career. She began working with Rock N Roll Hall of Fame inductee Dave Mason, singing on a number of tunes he was recording. She did commercials with ex-steely Dan/Doobie Bros. Member Jeff "Skunk" Baxter who would end up working on her first CD just a few years later.
Pink Lipstick, Suzannes debut, introduces the world to a vital, magnetic artist whose abundant talent and charisma are already well known to the indie artist network. The 10-song collection is a noteworthy accomplished and compelling first effort, offering a combination of raw emotion and eloquent songcraft which overall is what draws fans to the singer/songwriter/guitarists live shows.
In a remarkable short time, Pariss effortlessly intimate live performances have made her key to the Southern California music scene, building public anticipation for the release of her upcoming album that will hit stores in the early summer of 2005.
Pink Lipstick doesnt disappoint. On such melodically arresting originals such as Talk to the River, Pink Lipstick and World of Hunger, the lyrics muse on life and love and gives insight to her mysterious demeanor. She sings her songs in a gentle, emotive voice that carries a level of depth conveying the elation of life.

Acoustic-rock with a hint of pop, lined with magical lyrics and carried with an angelic voice that knows how to touch the inner soul of her listeners...
...Let me help you prepare for this voyage. You try to pack everything, and your back hurts from carrying all those ideas. You don't need everything. Lighten your load. Carry the essentials; that's all you need. Pack clarity. It will see you through most problems. Confusion weighs a lot; clarity weighs so little. Pain weighs so much, and joy so little. These are good things to carry with you because they hardly weigh anything and they make you lighter, too.
Take the voyage. It's a good voyage. Feel the heaven here. This earth was designed for you. Be in that peace. Be in that joy.
Maharaji DEAR SUZANNE I LIKE YOUR MUSIC! WISH U, ALL THE BEST! GIANNIS
Hey Suzanne, I just can't understand why it took so long for you to approve of me. Anyways, I know what a great musician you are, but how scary can you convince the DMV that you really are? Check out the bad driver’s license contest I’m having. Go to www. dougthedrummer. com and take the “Bad Face Days at the DMV” tab! If you think you've got the guts to go for it, I'll give you a hint: Just pretend you're taking a solo! See? It worked for me! Peace Doug Bigwood Johnson
