I am so lucky to be a full-time musician living in Nashville, TN! I currently playing fiddle for Average Joe's recording artist Colt Ford! Most recently, I got to play on a few fiddle tracks for Colt's new album! Take a listen to "Day in the Life" featuring Andy Griggs, it is a track on a CD/DVD package that will be available at Wal-Mart Oct. 6th (that's me on fiddle). I also play mandolin, guitar and sing background vocals for other various artists around Nashville including The Roys and Elizabeth Cook. Since moving to music city in 2000, I have had oportunities to open for some of my favorite artists such as Jason Aldean, Loretta Lynn, George Jones, Alan Jackson, Gene Watson and most recently Blues Traveler and Robert Randolph. Some artists I have worked with include; Lorrie Morgan, Joe Diffie, Vince Gill, Tracey Lawrence, Julie Reeves, Rebecca Lynn Howard, Mindy McCready, Mila Mason, Jill King, The Roys, Elizabeth Cook, Doug Stone, The Wreckers, and Jeff Keith of Tesla! Living in Nashville has given me oportunities that I never in my wildest dreams though could happen. I have had the chance to see much of the world, performing in France, Sweden and Japan as well as playing venues such as The Grand Ole Opry, The Ryman Auditorium and even have performed for George W. Bush at his Departure Ceremony in Washington DC at Andrews Airforce Base! Around town people call me the "fiddle queen", but I also am a classically trained concert violinist, and play viola, mandolin, acoustic guitar, sing harmony and am working on harmonica, which is a challenge! Lately I have been playing fiddle in the studio more, which I also love and would like to do more of. I have the best and most talented fiance in the world, who is also my number 1 friend under "top friends". If you like hot guitar pickin', check out James myspace page!!! 2008 brought many things to the table; I toured with Lorrie Morgan, I played the Opry numerous times (including Opry's 83rd birthday bash tv spot), performed at CMA music fest on the Riverstages, opened for George Jones, Phil Vassar, Chris Young, John Anderson, Sungarland, Lonestar, Joe Diffie, and The Oakridge Boys!!! Some of my biggest goals include getting to play with Ray Price.....love him (I think he could fit another fiddler in, he has like 10 of them, what's one more?), to do more overseas traveling, to record another CD, to write more, and to play good music as long as I can, have fun, and make a living at it. Please visit my website, www.fiddlequeen.com.
I am available for demo work.
Some of the tunes you are hearing are from Suzanne's CD, "Fiddle Pickin" Good". If you would like a copy please contact me.
