.. jazz, nu-soul, 70s rock, heavy heavy rock with monstrous great big eat-ya-head riffs, great singer/songwriters (so, so many!), new composers, the choral music of James McMillan anything that ticks and bleeps and sings and screams or tweets.. Stories.. random experiences from chattn to the wee old lady on the bus about her cat to running away to New York and stumbling into a post-midnite jazz scene...being lead singer of a drum and bass band, backing singer for a live BBC talkshow, playin support for Van Morrison with my jazz band , writing music for a film...my two years spent on scholarship in Italy at FABRICA writing music and working on Italian composer Andrea Molino's huge multi-media international work CREDO changed my life (-and my God! The food in Italy!); meeting musicians and artists from all over the world at FABRICA and being completely blown away by their genius..touring for two years as soprano soloist with Riverdance and not learning a feckn step...my friends..working musicians God Bless You One and All..finding out Germans are brilliant fun. And kinky :)
Bjork, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Portishead, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, Damien Rice, Jose Gonzales, Heiner Goebbels' piece 'Surrogate Cities' - wow, Cara Dillon, Hole, Elly Ameling, Queens of the Stone Age, Massive Attack, Julie London, Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerland, E.S.T, anything from the Stax funk label, anything involving an orchestra, The White Stripes, Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs ..I could go on but could you be arsed reading all this really? :)

That's me and the fabulous boys (Dan Bodwell on bass, Martin Moran on geetar) gigging at the Ruby Sessions in Doyle's (Dublin). Great fun, and great feedback :)
Here's a video for one of my songs, "Quiet Room", done by my lovely genius friend Ben Tseng during our crazy scholarship time in Italy at F A B R I C A. Those were the days...
I can also be found lurking in other musical guises - writer of film music, session vocalist, jazz singer and classical vocalist (it is possible!), or working with Hot Choir of the Year 2008 (I jest) NEW DUBLIN VOICES...and as violin and mandolin player with Dublin band CARUSO..
