  • Music

I love so many styles of music. Everything from opera to country. I am not a huge gangsta rap or heavy metal fan.
  • Movies

I am an old sappy movie nut. Audrey Hepburn movies are a weekness. I also love silly funny movies. I was raised on Mel Brooks, Monty Python and John Hughes movies. I love many of the modern comedies like superbad and hangover, but nothing compares to cuddling up on the couch with an old romance or thriller, a bowl of popcorn and a glass of good wine.
  • Television

If I am not watching TMC, throwing my sponge brick at Fox News, I am watching Better of Ted, the Office, 30 Rock, Real Housewives, or Army Wives and can't forget my Kathy Griffins my life on the D list. Oh yes, dirty jobs. I'd go gay for Mike Rowe. Wait I am gay! Bring him on baby!
  • Books

I am an avid reader. Everything from current events, to history, to fiction.
  • Heroes

Anyone that has faced the adversity of coming out. Every service member that wears a uniform and keeps us safe and free. The Bionic Woman and Wonder Woman - What little boy didn't want to be them?

About me:

Okay...I am sure that I am not the gurl that the Beach Boys were singing about but that is ok...in my mind I am :) If you have not figured it out yet I am a biologically male who considers myself a transgendered female. Most people want a label on where I am at in the process. I am not really into that I see this process as a spectrum that I am moving through. Right now I don't live full time outwardly as a woman although I take every advantage I have to dress. One day I plan on transitioning, but I have not started moving down that road. It is more a function of my job and where I am right now in life than desire. I will take the leap soon..not sure how far, but the best adventures are the ones not fully known. Now that we have the gender disclaimer off the table..... I have been told that I am an unabashed romantic. Guess I have watch to many old movies in my life. My perfect evening is cuddling on the couch on a cold night under a blanket munching on popcorn and watching a sappy romance, silly comedy or even a little sci fi. Off the couch I am easy going fun loving gal that loves the outdoors working out and working on my house. My passions include shopping, decorating, cooking, dancing, golf, skiing, riding my motorcycle and running. I am an avid reader. I do enjoy going out on the town, meeting friends and dancing the night away.

Who I'd like to meet:

This is where it really gets complicated. I am out of the closet. I have been since my divorce 14 years ago. I am looking for friendship, dating and romance. My ideal man will be one that is not so much interested in my outward appearance as a male or female, but interested in me. I love my femme side but I still have my moments where being a man is fun also. I would love a man that I could go play 18 holes of golf with and then come home clean up put on my dress and heals and hit the town. He needs to be able to relate to my Mel Brooks, Monty Python inspired humor. There is nothing sexier than a man that can make me laugh. Looks and race are not all that important to me. I would like him to be taller than me though. In the bedroom he needs to be a top know what he wants and be willing to ask for it! He need to be financially secure. I am not looking for a sugar daddy but he needs to have the maturity and wisdom to manage his finances for the future.
