Suzuki boom Boom are the result of a desperate need to play fun Worldy Indie style music by Drumming/Percussion Virtuoso (and all round good egg) Richie Paradise.
The band were formed after an opportune chance meeting with the delightful Meg Wilkinson-Tough, a close friend of guitarist Barrington 'Barrio' Parsons girlfriend Sam. Then a comment, a plan hatched, an ultimatum and hostage taking resulted in Flute blowing Bass player Kris '10g' Griffin getting on board.
The results? Contemporary World and Indie meets non beardy folk. Word indeed.
With the Gimme Shelter! club night , John The Mod and guests spinning 60’s Garage & Psych, Northern Soul, Freakbeat, Punk, Rock & Roll and Go Go! against a backdrop of vintage lights, films and projections.
