It all started in a Tejas town called San Antonio. Two wayward souls showed up to work hungover as hell: Suzy Bravo from the self-named band, SUZY BRAVOand Shawn Terry from THE DISPICABLES. That morning, they decided to get together and call themselves Hammered. Shortly after, Pill from the BENT GENTS joined along on bass and then Rob, the guitar/vox from the THE MARTYRS joined in on drums. We'll be crashing your living room and drinking your booze real soon.
But, if you want the romanticized version, how about this:
The Devil came down to Texas, spittin' fiery hell and heat. I sold my soul for some whiskey, a case of lonestar smokes, and weed. I could tell ya that night started off just right by the way I was feelin' high. My rowdy friends, they were on their way, Dixie Witch were rockin' that night.
It was after the show, lookin' for somewhere to go. I tripped onto a table covered in blow. RAM said, "Hey pussy! What the fuck?!" then I was, face down...ass up!
Next night I was feelin' lonely. So, I did what a young girl should. I went along my way and I began to play. 1 + 1 baby, is just 2 good. I could tell ya that night started off just right, there were purty boyz everywhere. And I was lookin' so good, like a young girl should, that I didn't have time to stare.

Now, I'm broke like a joke and hungry. But, I play as much as I can. As a matter of fact, the goddamn devil is back and SHE's headed out to TACOLAND. I can tell ya tonight's startin' off just right by the way my band is high. And my rowdy friends, they're here to stay and RAM's in the house tonight.

We're back home in Tel Aviv, kicking back after a grueling 2 month US tour. We'd like to thank all our gracious hosts for putting us up on the road, all the bands we had the pleasure of sharing the stage with and all our fans and supporters in the US for making this our best tour yet!
We miss you all and we'll see you again in 2007, sooner rather than later, we hope.
We're now working on the release of our second album, "Virgin No. 72", which will be available for purchase online through our Myspace page as of today!! An official release date will be announced soon.
To all our Israeli friends, hang tight, no shows yet. We'll play a lot of shows when the album's out, we promise!
And last but not least, to all our European friends, we're planning a Summer 2007 European tour, so if you're in a band, own a club or a booking agency and would like to help in any way, please get in touch with us ASAP!
here's an update on what's new with The Genders: we are in the studio recording our second album this week, we got 13 red-hot songs on this one, we're getting great sounds and the vibe is incredible!
