Svart Parad is a band from Hedemora which was formed on september 1984. After two weeks rehearsed they recorded the demo “Myteri” (Mutiny in english) on a cassette. They recorded a new demo some months later – that they thought was even worse than the previous “Myteri” – which they did two cassettes: “En dåres dikt” (A fool's poem) and “Hur fan kan vi tolerera grymheter som slakthus” (How the fuck can we approve cruelties like slaughterhouses). The cassettes were made only for 30 copies. They recorded another demo on September 1985 called “Multisvält” (Multi-starvation).
They recorded a second one on July 1986: the first they really were satisfied with. The songs appeared on a split-cassette with the Kazjurol band and were released later that fall. Svart Parad has had 16 gigs (more or less successful) since they started the band, tells the baser Tompa. Svart Parad is: Göte – Vocals, Strazze – Guitar, Tompa – Bass and Nyrran – Drums.

There are many people who consider that you are very influenced by Crass in your lyrics, what do you say about that?
- We almost never listen to “Crassbands” nowadays, but in most cases Crass and similar bands have very good lyrics and opinions. Without Crass and other similar bands like they, we probably would not have those lyrics and ideals we have today. We absolutely don't try to copy them; we try to write down our feelings and opinions.
Define the word “Anarchism”.
- The word anarchy is an old Greece word that means absence of authority and government. Anarchism is a free socialism and aims on the abolishment of the human greed and oppression. We want to decentralize the society to collective which is based on responsibility and cooperation instead of money and politics.
How do you think the world will be like in the year 2000?
- It's hard to say, but if the development continues, the world will be the worst nightmare you could imagine. Although we are optimists.
Were you satisfied with “Multisvält”?
- We are not too much satisfied. But we are satisfied with the lyrics. We try to play a little more ”heavy”, a little more complicated, with some ”metal-riffs” here and there.
Have you participated on any other CD/cassettes?
- We are on about 10-15 compilation-cassettes, with old shitty material. We are also on the really fast col. 3, with old shitty material. We got to be worst on the entire fucking album.
