TalkSport has signed BBC Radio 5 Live football pundit Stan Collymore to host his own nightly show on the station.
Collymore, who was highly regarded within Radio 5 Live, will transfer to the UTV-owned commercial station in time for Euro 2008, which begins on June 7.
The former England and Liverpool striker will present a nightly programme on TalkSport between 7pm and 10pm, as well as a Saturday show interviewing the top names in football.
He will also be a match summariser on the station's Barclays Premier League and Champions League football coverage from the next season, which begins in August.
The switch reunites Collymore with former Radio 5 Live managing editor Moz Dee, who left the BBC station last November to become TalkSport director of programmes.
"Stan is an intelligent and articulate commentator on the game who has experienced for himself the ups and downs of football," said Dee. "He is a great addition to our team."
Collymore joins a stable of former players turned presenters on the station including Alan Brazil, Ian Wright and Andy Townsend.
He said the move was a "dream come true". "The chance to host my own radio show coupled with regular magazine programming, Champions League and Barclays Premier League football is a great combination," Collymore said.

Alright stan, i read the article about you saying Gareth Barry has a tough decision about choosing Villa or Liverpool. I agree champions league football would be extremely tempting and ill respect his decision what ever it shall be. I just hope he chooses villa. Where would you want to see him playing next season out of interest?
