About Svelte Svelte was formed by two ex-Supergroove members, Tim Stewart and Ben Sciascia with drummer Jamie Woolright - son of legendary New Zealand bass player, Paul Woolright.

The three piece have kept a very low profile up until now, writing, rehearsing and playing the odd show in Auckland and Wellington. The band recently performed live on National Radio's "The Music Mix" and played Orientation in Wellington with The Exponents.
