Sven & Tettero met each other in 2005. At that time Sven Prinsen was mostly playing at Club Stalker in Haarlem and Gijs Tettero was organizing parties on the beach and at the Patronaat, another club in Haarlem. One night Tettero was visiting Stalker during Sven’s playtime and that’s where the real party started. Sven was invited to play at Tettero’s beachparty and right there a true friendship started. They made plans organizing parties together, so they started a clubnight called ‘Vastgoed’ at Club Stalker. It was at these nights where they started playing as a duo.
Tettero was already throwing his own party at Patronaat called Luxlife. After a few nights playing together at ‘Vastgoed’, the two also introduced themselves as a duo at the Luxlife parties. Playing together with big djs like Jesse Rose, Trevor Loveys and Sinden, they were making name and soon people from the Dutch clubscene made their interest in the duo. Organizations like Loveland (Fire!) and Enter Dexter (GirlsloveDjs) booked the duo and they were noticed more and more..
Victor Coral saw the two play and liked what he heard, so he invited them to play at the popular Rush (Chemistry) party in Amsterdam. That night S&T rocked the place and shook the ground. More invitations to come play at Rush followed and after some months S&T became Rush residents. Chemistry pushed the two for playtime throughout the whole country. So they often played at 013 in Tilburg, Effenaar Eindhoven, Paradiso Amsterdam, Monza and Poema Utrecht with big artists like Dr. Lektroluv, Crookers, Green Velvet, Dennis Ferrer, Jerome Sydenham and Benny Rodrigues.
Besides that they did performances for big audiences at parties on the Amstelveld, at Passenger Terminal Amsterdam and at Rockit festival, all sets being received with great enthusiasm by the crowd.
Sven & Tettero’s sound can best be described as all-round. They can drop a Fidget set as good as a perfect House or Tech-house set. Their energy, enthusiasm and technical level of djing make their performances a great experience.
