Svetogorsk is a 5-piece musical group from Helsinki, Finland, which aspires to create instrumental music that is both catchy and challenging, elusive and easy to listen to.
The band has been together since early 2007. The first complete lineup consisted of Antti, Antti, Otto, Tuomas and Juho, and this lineup remained consistent for a year and a half. However, Juho left the band in late 2008 due to commitments elsewhere. In November 2008 the band managed to find a new keyboardist, Juha, only a couple of weeks before the band's first gig, and the current lineup was formed.
Currently Svetogorsk is feeling relieved after spending time at MD Studios recording the first EP, Valmistusvirhe and looking for gigs to play.
