Swagger is an Irish Rock Band based out of Salt Lake City.UT. The band plays a mixture of Traditional & modern Irish music with a twist of Ska, Country & Punk, with an American style kick.
The band released “Trouble on the Green” in March 2008. The 11 track CD consists of original material with a couple traditional tunes that were given a Swag twist. The CD is accompanied by a full length live DVD. The film consists of footage from “The Deer Valley Concert Series”, including interviews & funny outtakes.
Swagger has been a favorite at such events as the “ 34th Annual Highland Games”, “Utah State Fair”, “Heber Valley Concert Series”, “Park City Arts Festival”, “Park City Octoberfest” & “Sundance Film Festival”. The band has enjoyed radio play of their song “Piperdown”, written about a popular local pub by the same name. The guys also appear on Park City T.V. & Radio several times a year to promote their new CD & upcoming shows.
During the 2009 winter Ski season you will find Swagger holding court at “The Sundance Film Festival”, Snowbird Ski Resort, the Canyons Ski Resort & Sundance Ski resorts. Summer 2009 will find Swagger on festival tours to Reno,NV., Denver.CO, Boise,ID. Las Vegas,NV. St. George,UT. Moab,UT. & more to come. Make it a point to see Swagger in action soon.
