If one day I say I am a Buddhist, the next a Christian, the next a Hindu, the next a Jew, the next a Muslim, and the next something else, has the "I" actually changed, or only the opinions of the mind? Who am I? That cannot be answered with a mere opinion of mind. It can only be experienced in the stillness and silence of direct experience, wherein these divisions evaporate.
I practice Yoga meditation as in the traditional Yoga of the Himalayan Yoga masters, and was initiated as a swami (monk) by Swami Rama. The practices involve Yoga, Vedanta, and Tantra. My website is SwamiJ.com. It has been created as a free, public offering to help people understand the depth and breadth of traditional Yoga meditation. Humorously, the site was meant to be simple and straightforward, but the articles keep growing and growing, so that it ends up appearing complicated. If meditation is of interest to you, I hope you find the site useful, and that you see the underlying simplicity! :)
The goal of sadhana or practices is the highest Joy that comes from the Realization in direct experience of the center of consciousness, the Self, the Atman or Purusha, which is one and the same with the Absolute Reality. This Self-Realization comes through the three streams of Yoga meditation of the Yoga Sutras, the contemplative insight of Advaita Vedanta, and the intense devotion of Samaya Sri Vidya Tantra, the three of which complement one another like fingers on a hand.
Ekam evadvitiyam brahma:
There is one absolute, nondual reality, one without a second.
Ekam sat, viprah bahudha vadanti:
There is a single truth but the wise call it by different names.
Aham brahmasmi:
That one, nondual reality is who I really am.
There are over 30 VIDEOS that I've made in relation to Meditation, which can be seen in the Video link in the left column. I hope you enjoy them. There are a few more on my YouTube which is at

The Secret of Shiva and Shakti
Shiva and Shakti are one and the same.
There is no place that he is not.
There is no place that she is not.
They are one and the same.
She is in every thing.
She is in every word.
She is all there is.
See her in all things.
Hear her in all sounds.
Know her in all thoughts.
Feel her in all feelings.
She is all there is.
She is the one in the three worlds.*
Shiva and Shakti are one and the same.
That is the secret.

These 41 YouTube videos are fabulous. It is a total of six hours of Swami Rama talking about the depth of practice. This series of lectures was given in summer 1993, just before Swami Rama permanently left US to return to India to finish building the Himalayan Institute Hospital in India.
I am very interested for quite some time in the wide scope the spiritual world....intensive with the soul and with the psyche. Every contact, every self-experience helps me a little bit to understand the world as universe!
