Movies
Here is a list of my favorites:
Star Wars series (all time favorite, and yes I'm a geek)
Tombstone, men being men and taking care of biz!
The Princess Bride: A true classic, just goes to show funny movies don't have to be all about pot, sex, and drunken teens (not that that in itself isn't funny! LOL)
Training Day: This movie was the bomb! Awesome movie, awesome acting!
The Matrix (part 1): A true groundbreaking film at the time.. kung fu+guns+leather.. what's not to like?!
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Hong Kong filmography meets with Ang Lee. The result a fun to watch movie with a deep plotline and awsome soundtrack. A true must see.
Shaun of the Dead : A Romantic Comedy, with Zombies. Hillarious!
Deep Impact : Screw Armageddon, this was the better of the "World Ends" movies that summer. Surprisingly touching with excellent acting. A true human struggle story.
Toy Story 1 and 2 : Awesome animation!
Monster's Inc. : Billy Crystal as Mike stole the show. a riot! You won't believe your Eye!
Shrek 1 and 2: Not your kids animated comedy, but it's still ok to sit down with the kids to watch. Fun for the whole family!
Band of Brothers : The best miniseries of all time and the best WW II movie ever made. A truly awesome experience.
Secretary : Not your typical date flick, but it's a movie about how some people are just right for each other.
Last Night : What would you do during the last night on Earth before the world ended? Canadian made and not your typical Hollywood movie.
Man on Fire: Ok, the first time I saw this movie, I didn't like it. I watched it again on HBO, and I liked it. It seems each time I watch it I like it more. Which tells me there is something about this movie that I haven't fully understood. OK, that was deep. Anyhow, not for everyone, but I like this one.
and many more!
