How a legend was born...
"Between the time when the outlaws sang Maria and the rise of the Santa Fe Three... there was an age undreamed of... And unto this....El Quanto... destined to carry the burden of his forbidden love with a heavy heart... It is The Swank, his chronicler who alone can thee of this saga... let them tell you of the days of high adventure..."
The story of El Quanto is one of love, lust and its inevitable betrayel, set against a backdrop of the lawless frontiers of the old west. This is a story of how a legend is born, a story that had been lost within the grand narrative of the old west... but the story of El Quanto has not been forgotten by The Swank, and now thru them his story must be told. There are many songs and chapters of this legend that will detail the twists, turns and shootouts in what is a tragic tale, The Swank have posted up only a handfull to date. In time, all of the the priniciple players in this saga will tell their own stories....Quadronero....Maria Conchitta...Jimmy Chin...and of course the infamous lawman Sheriff Tex McZipper... The first album in the planned trilogy 'The Ballad of El Quanto' is coming soon...
