I'm an adopted fella who is fortunate enough to've found & become friends with my birth mother, Ruth Janes who is also an incredibly talented artist. I come by it honestly - that combination of nature & nurture I supose, as my parents (adoptive) always support me in all of my artistic endeavors, and the talent itself is in my blood!! Interesting how little folks seem to know about me and what I do in my spare time, as I think I've led them to believe that I rarely HAVE any SPARE TIME! Guess it ain't their faults then, huh? Aside from the POETRY, the GRAPHIC DESIGN, the PRODUCING / PROMOTING / EMCEEING / ACTING , I also have a pretty darned good time PAINTINGwith my CIGAR BOX ART which be sellin' like hotcakes at Vancouver's A BAKER'S DOZEN antique and curio shop, 3520 Main St., Vancouver, BC., as well as becoming a fave amongst American collectors of the "low brow" style.
I'm now ACCEPTING COMMISSIONS for both the CLOTHING ART & the CIGAR BOX ART. Do contact me if you're interested in talking with me about your special needs in these departments, or as a TATTOO DESIGNER (not a tattooist).
The jacket that you'll see in my photo's section was designed for my emceeing of the 1ST ANNUAL VAN TAT CONVENTION, BC's first international tattoo exhibition.

Captain Don is perhaps one of the most informed people in North America, if not the world, on the topic of true traditional sideshow history as he is a living, breathing piece of it himself. It is safe to say that of all of the sword swallowers in North America today, Don Leslie either trained, or they were trained by a student of his at some point at the beginning of their carreers.

For all of the rockabilly & greaser Kats n Kittens out there...
For those whove looked but never found em Good news! - I make those fantastic (and next to impossible to find!) vintage-style gas attendant caps that were popularized in films like "THE WILD ONE".
What better way to accessorize that wardrobe consisting of bucket cuff dungarees, plain white rolled sleeved tee-shit, engineer boots, and slick jacket?
They are available in a selection of colours from black, bone (a very light beige-ish colour), cream, pink and white. The caps are waterproof and have a slight stiffness to the, which allows them to be shaped when worn, but are still pliable enough to tuck away in your pocket. The bills are either in a shiny patent leather type black, or in a black matte finish.
To order a cap fit to your specifications, please contact me via my email address with your hat size or head measurements (around the head at the top of the ears to the top of the forehead) and we can go from there!
IF YOU WOULD LIKE A LOGO, NAME, OR IMAGE ADDED (with acrylic paint almost anything can be done or created for you!), there will be an additional charge on top of the initial ($65.00) price of the hat.
